I will say this is the most Dramatic Offseason we have seen is a long time. Long Time ? Ever ! I've been watching football for more than 1/2 a century over 60 years and I tell you I don't remember anything close to this. And it's probably not over yet. We'll all remember this off season.

Was only a matter of time. Jets have a sh*t load of draft picks between next two years, I think I read 21 picks altogether. 7 in the first 2 rounds combined.
Going to be really interesting top 10. Whatever I had last month is practically destroyed in terms of a mock top 10.
I suppose all we know as of right now is Jax goes Trevor, Jets go Wilson and SF is taking a QB. Curious if Atlanta, Detroit or Carolina become trade spots for one of the available QBs, maybe Mac Jones finds his way into the top 10 also. I'm not sold on SF trading all the way up to 3 for Mac Jones but I guess its possible.

How do the Panthers arrive at Darnold > Bridgewater? How many games did they see Bridgewater last year? They know more than us about him plus they didn't spend all that much to find out if he's still a top prospect. It's not like with the 49ers having to give away ton just to show their current QB how great he is.

I thought he looked better than Darnold, in his brief stint with the Jets.

You'd have to think the initial golden boy of the greatest quarterback class of all time, where if you don't draft one you set your franchise back 25 years (2018) will have a chance to salvage his career with Matt Rhule, Joe Brady, and a talented Panthers offense. If he can't do it there, he just doesn't have the stuff. Definitely did not walk into a great situation with the NYJ.
Disclaimer: I think Josh Allen and Baker Mayfield are very good players.

How do the Panthers arrive at Darnold > Bridgewater? He's 23 years old, playing on the Jets...no OL, no weapons, no defense, no running game...and horrible coaching. He was also, despite all the know now in hindsight experts, the top rated QB on the vast majority of "teams" big boards...as Charlie Casserly says, by a wide margin. He's still a talented guy, and we will now see if Matt Rhule can get him to franchise status most teams thought he would become. Personally, believe he's 2 or 3 and done....the Jets stench never quite leaves a player

We saw David Carr ruined in Houston and he never recovered. The Pats ruined Jim Plunkett but he managed to slowly come back and then win 2 superbowls. But that was a long process. I think it's optimistic to think that he can go down to Carolina and turn it around in one season. No impossible, but definitely unlikely. He will still have to compete for that job, unless they trade Teddy. It's going to be a tough slog for Darnold either way.

Darnold will get the rest of his rookie deal to show what he can do.

Josh Allen is a historic player. Future 1st ballot HOF'er. Baker Manziel is worse than Daniel Jones. Baker is Just Another Guy. He is not good. He is the epitome of average. The season that Daniel Jones is about to have in 2021, will be better than any Baker season. Baker peaked and maxed out already. He is what he is - a painfully ordinary and average NFL QB. Nothing more.
