There will probably different decision makers in the organization when that time comes. The next puppet of Chris Mara doesn't exactly sound line different decision makers unfortunately. 😞 giants are in a weird spot here if they go outside they might have to move on from a kid they believe in f the new guys want their own QB. If they stay inside we are probably in for more of the same, unless they find someone that has worked with Judge in the past that might work.

I'm not 100% sold on Jones but it's hard for him to score TD's when they run it up the gut 3x inside the 5 and then roll him out to his right with with 1 potential target who is blanked by 3 defenders and 2 defenders in his face. Also, who the hell has their QB turn into a WR around mid field? Who the hells rolls their QB to the left with not 1 passing option inside the 5 yard line? Jason Garrett is horrible. NY Giants management: I have a great idea, let's hire Jason Garrett and our Offensive Coordinator even though he had his play calling ability stripped from him 8 years. We are brilliant! There is a lot of blame to go around, but you can't use Garrett to completely exonerate Jones. If the Giants are thinking extension and franchise QB, they have to see something in Jones that isn't on film. His on field performance does not justify it. Jones doesn't deserve an extension at this point. I began my comment by saying that I'm not completely sold on Jones. I'm just saying Jason Garrett is one of the worst, if not the worst offensive coordinators in football. His scheme hasn't really been adjusted to fit the players, he is trying to fit the players into his scheme. He will never get another job as an offensive coordinator in the NFL after this season.

Overall, I think Jones has had a pretty good season so far, with 1 horrible game thrown in there. If he continues to get better, the prospect of having Jones as a QB could actually entice potential GM's to the Giants. Unfortunately for the Giants, the remainder of the season is basically an extended try out for Jones. Hopefully they can win a few more games and at least make it interesting...

Did you know that Daniel Jones has not taken an single NFL snap with is entire starting offense due to injuries? He's only taken 17 snaps with all of his starting skill position players. For his career, not just this season.

OK folks. Spending spree is over. The team looks solid. The defense is very strong both up front and in the secondary. Saquan will be back. The weapons are in place.
So why are we still picked by many to be in the bottom half of the league? Answer:.....Daniel Jones.
I see 11 wins this year without crippling injuries. This may go down as the biggest jinx post in the history of the Giants Message Board (both old and new)

I get the first 2 lol's, (The team looks solid and the defense is very strong up front and in the secondary). Yikes, I've heard that mixing certain drugs has a synergistic effect. That's seems like a logical explanation for those comments... On the other hand, Saquon will be back and when healthy, this teams has pretty decent weapons... It was from July 5th...when everyone, rightfully so, thought this would be an elite defense. Not everyone, the guesses were all over the place like they always are.

Right, which is why right now that post is funny. Sorry, was reading to me like Morehead was getting cherry picked for his "predictions" which would seem...selective. No one should pay more than two onions for any prediction made here. And even two is a bit steep..

Yes....It's called being a QB in the NFL. "Yes"...as in - yes, you knew the very specific stat of 17 snaps taken with all of his starting skill position players?

You know that no other starting QB in the NFL over the same span of time has fewer snaps with their starters or with their starting skill position players? So yes, it is being a QB in the NFL, for the Giants, named Daniel Jones. A rather elite group of 1 there.

NFL QB's rarely have all their guys at once. Stop whining. It's unattractive.

I wasn't whining. It is just an interesting tidbit. But it is less than literally every other QB. So if your argument is "like every other QB" it is just a stupid argument, because it isn't just like every other QB, it is less than every other QB. Sorry if reality makes you uncomfortable.

I would agree, generally QBs lose guys. Jones has disproportionately lost guys...but like most things, he'll regress to the mean. This year, he's going to get some guys back and we'll see how he plays. I expect he'll play well.
I thought he handled being undermanned so great against the Panthers, but could not have handled it worse against the rams.
Like him a lot though, likable QB.

I don't think this is a discussion within the organization. He’s getting an extension when the time comes. There will probably different decision makers in the organization when that time comes. Mara selling the team?
Just joking. Honestly it won't matter who the decision makers are, this kid is the real deal and is our future. This is not a Josh Rosen getting replaced for a midget or Sam Darnold getting the worst draft place on earth type of situation.

Just stop peeps..🙄
