We just played, in what is in many ways, the worst defence in football.
This was our offensive performance. Really shocking stuff.

Not bad..outplayed Mahomes I thought. Terrible INT in the 1st quarter though. Basically this... Edit As someone else said Gettleman failed him from the moment he was drafted by neglecting getting him help in that draft We might not see his true up side here Good point. It's easy to get frustated with Jones, but it's not the easiest working behind this group of o-lineman. Gettlemen until this year really put in a bad spot and even now that they did get weapons.. they're all ****ing hurt lol.. I think most ppl including myself are just frustrated with how bad this organization has been for so long. Patience is almost at zero.. even still this was a very suspect defense.

Hell I almost lit my dog on first INT( and I don't have a dog)so yeah I was not happy with him at the beginning Seems at times he has that Eli gene where he sometimes starts off shaky then settles down, especially when he figures out where the line is leaky and self adjusts.. But what happened to helping him .. Where were the bootleg roll outs Peyton was begging Garret to call (Eli was biting his tongue all game with what he wanted to say )? You are left with 2 speed burners and Toney.. Run both deep and clear out the underneath for Toney(who probably wasn't 100% because he had hardly any seperation it seemed) And honestly Spags knew how to exploit the weakness of our O line...middle blitz/zone drops

Was actually very high on him for the most part this season... He continues to give me reasons why I shouldn't be.. I'm all about done with him.. it is what it is, he'll have all of next year to prove otherwise as there wont be a QB worth drafting this offseason anyway. He has 9 games left today he was part of the problem and the Rams game he was part of the problem the rest he was more answer then problem. wish he would just get hot and play a solid each week and keep growing.

I think jones will find his way hopefully it will be here I mean catch a few of those picks and cleanup the penalties we win this ball game, even with subpar OL play I say who ever is drafting keep building the interior is gonna need to be built back up and get an ILB who can cover some ground.

That's Garrett for you Fix what's not broken, moving the pocket works, especially when the interior is leaky Now I'm wondering if he saw signs that Solder wasn't holding up and didn't want to roll him into pressure, And another thing is rolling a qb limits his options to half the field That boot to the TE,does it once...12 yard play....never goes back to it

With so much not happening good around him it is hard to evaluate him, it isn't like he has ever had real good weapons on field together or OL play, when he did earlier he was playing fine the Saints game against a much better defense then this he hangs 27 on them 29 on washington 25 on the panthers. Think a lot of it has to do with that and the suspect play calling.

He played better than Mahomes, but not good enough to win with what he has around him. The first interception was as bad of a play as I have ever seen. Outside of that... 4th, 5th, 6th WR in the game. The pass to Slayton shouldve been a TD but he slowed up on the hold. The penalty on Penny, BRUTAL. 1st and 10 on the 48 instead of your own 37. The drops on 2nd and 3rd and shorts. We, AGAIN, did not attack multiple levels of the field. We had another game of hooks, ins, stops, outs and no drags, crosses or gos. We go against a good defense and its bombs away... Atlanta and KC though... lets dink and dunk and do interior runs. To play without chunk plays means you have to go PERFECTLY down the field over and over and over. We aren't doing that with guys who are gimmick receivers. Shep, slot guy who excels in the 4 to 9 yard range. Toney, RAC guy who needs the ball in space... Ross can run 3 routes well... GO, Stop, Cross. How many times did Ross go deep? Once, Twice? Right a deep bomb. Completion. I will say the same thing I have said every week. LET DJ PLAY. Let him suck and fail if thats what is going to happen. I don't get why we open up the playbook against better defenses and play conservative against the bad ones. I literally can't compute it. i don't get it either bro. Something is very broken and someone had better figure the damn thing out!!!

Look at all the designed plays to all the Chief plamakers to get them in space We actually resemble a modern offense pre snap then not do anything with Toney... It legit looked like an offense from vintage 1995 getting time warped to Nov 1 2021 If that right there doesn't tell you what's wrong I saw the hightlights a minute ago because I stopped watching early in 3rd and went to sleep. Yeah man all the creative designs to Hartman and Williams out of the backfield and such is such a beauty to watch. Someone had better figure out something real soon as to how to elevate/modernize this offense I'm bout tired of the lameness!

I Disagree. He was under duress most of the night and when he wasn't, his receivers did him no favors. DJ is a FRANCHISE QB playing behind a McDonalds Franchise Oline Then those ref calls...the taunting call on crowder was the most NFL rigged BS I've seen in a while. Yes. He was under complete duress on that INT... He hasn't learned you can't stare down WRs. His awareness is lacking too. when I saw that shit I wanted to reach thru the damn tv and choke his Azzzz

Watching the highlights though in the 3rd I believe it was he was lucky on that one pass to Ross where he got pressured pretty good and chucked it up. The defender slipped or that likely would've been a pick 6. to me he and I'm kinda torn still because even with the mistakes he seemed to and seem to be good enough to win with but we just need to be able to stop the damn injuries to ALL of our WR's and key folks for the most part or have better luck with them in that regard. Sure up some things and lets see what he can do. I know all qb's or most of them will stink it up some but having the oppurtunity to still be in the game and do some good things to get us back in the game I'd like to see things be better for him/around him, not perfect but just better in general and then see what he can do.

We as a team considering everything with the injuries and such had a chance and went toe to toe with them though I don't know how much of a measuring stick that is because they have some issues; they are not the same team and probably because the O line isn't that good and the D is sorry. But I believe truly we can do some good things we just need to figure out the innovations of the O and be able to evolve be it new OC or promote kitchens and hope he can evolve as an OC and damn sure have better luck with that BS ass injury bug!!

Quarterback is not a problem. I saw a guy make a terrible decision early and then set his feet on his dropback like 3 times in the entire game before he was evading pressure. Looked like some of the concepts we tried to employ during the carolina game were tried again (out of necessity) and didn't work as well.
Still find Garrett to be...inconsistent at best, and the fact that colin johnson and john ross were are two main WR (because Slayton might just be bad) is challenging.
All that said, one offsides play away from probably getting out of there with a win. So total disappointment and still a sign that this team is mostly allergic to winning. And honestly, in the Joe Judge era, these games are consistently lost. There is more opportunity in close games vs. Shurmur, but we lose the majority of them. It sucks.
Also, Eli Penny should know the rules so 100 % on him, but my God, the taunting rule is so dumb.

What Are Your Thoughts On Daniel Jones’s Performance vs Chiefs Tonight?
My thoughts are he needs to play better.
He needs to look off his receivers and he needs better pocket awareness.
