I’m watching the Bengal vs Titans and by far the Bengals have a worse Offensive line than we do. It seems it helps greatly to have a QB and Coordinator who can make adjustments something we never could do.

Com’on, that’s also a rested #1 seed Tennessee playoff team.
a better OC might consider shorter patterns. Burrow holds the ball forever.

I was told though that Joe Burrow had all day to throw and his receivers had time to get open 30-40 yards down the the field. Lmao.

This doesn't happen unless ex NY Giant Eli Apple makes the game changing play... Turnovers kill Also never forget Grampa Gettleman ignorantly passed on AJ Brown in 2019 and took Baker and we were forced to overpay a wish version of him this past offseason to the tune of 75 million as he almost singlehandedly won this for Tennessee

Amazing what a top QB does for a team with a crappy O-line, huh? And regardless of WHY he took each sack they would surely have been blamed for a loss. But they won't... because they WON.

They’re both bad lines. The Bengals bad line is just good enough given their talent at QB.
The amount of talent they have at QB isn’t as common as great o linemen.
There’s more than one way to build a great team.

Yeah, Joe Burrow is a generationally great talent that is translating it in the NFL. Daniel Jones ceiling is...well...maybe...Ryan Tannehill?

There’s more than one way to build a great team. And possibly have the best group of playmakers in the NFL.... Still not a sound way to build a team because you can't replace Burrow if he gets beat up like that all the time

It actually Defies all logic how bad that line is and they are still winning 3 elite WR's and a top TE. Probably the most dynamic group of receivers in football. Edit: We obviously agree.

One excellent/very good one. Elite is top 10. Not to mention, Chase is a rookie that you pre-draft said shouldn't be taken in the first round, as both him and Slater didnt play in the NCAA last year. So lets not forget what we started with this off-season. Jones has everything Burrows has in Golloday in Toney, we spent as much on our pair as the bengals have on theirs, no one thought Golloday was anything other than a top-10 WR, thats why no one flinched when he was given that sort of contract, you included correct?. If Burrows/Jones swapped places, the Bengals would be a 4 win team like the Giants. Burrows saw pressure on every snap today it appeared. Jones wouldn't last Jones doesn't have the skill to overcome the OL. I would argue he can't with more pieces, and well have to wait to see that next year

The Bengals address their OL this year. Maybe best OL available with their #1 pick. A nice Guard or maybe Lindenbaum at say #25. Daniel Jerimiah has Linderbaum going at #25 in his first mock draft. Possibly a nice FA as well.
They do need to incorporate a quick hitter in their passing game to save Burrow. These saftey valve passes should have been addressed already into their offense.

Having some elite playmakers helps counter a bad OL. but it's Russian Roulette with a very talented young QB the kind that don't come around often, They tasted it last year, they shouldn't test fait better get that OL fixed defenses will be looking to wreck this kid.

At the end of the day they scored 19 points today and got 3 turn overs, if the OL was decent it's 28 maybe 31 think 1 or 2 of those turnovers were while they were in scoring position or driving. they need to address that OL they have a gift. QBs like Burrow don't come along very often they better protect him.

I think Gettleman will be the new thing to “bitch” about. That kid Burrow though if only Jones could be like the “Peyton Manning” that Gil Brandt(Long time Cowboys Scout) was telling Dave Gettleman about.

This is uncharted territory As I said they have elite playmakers and an ready to be elite QB had 3 extra possessions and scored 19. That OL needs to be fixed . They don't get those turn overs they don't win the game, you see kid like him come along every 5 or more years they need to protect him.

It’s not the way most teams would like to do it except our team. Obviously Jerry Reese and Gettleman didn’t learn from the 2011 NFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME when Eli took that beating but kept killing them with Victor Cruz.

This is uncharted territory lol yup. Now to be honest last week was really the first game I watched cincy a good bit and missed most of the game today but saw maybe 30 mins of it or so. So I'm not sure how Burrow is surviving and making plays if they have long developing plays and their O line is as bad or worst than ours
