Say, I always liked Cole Beasley. If this kid is like him, I’ll take it.
Value, schmalue. Just get players. So far, I’ll say we’ve gotten three in two rounds. Not too shabby.

When he is racking up first dawns and pushing Toney to be better we will be pleasantly surprised. Hopefully your right Blue. I just felt there were better players of need available. I feel disappointed for our 2nd rd pick. Especially after the monster 1st rd I think we got. Liked Pickens a ton, but i alaways give the guys who get paid to do it some time. They are looking for a certain type of player Toney and him can and will be on the field together he plays from backfield he was at Nebraska before Kentucky and produced from day 1 he is a gadget player but with Daboll and Kafka these are the guys that open up space on the field. |

Wan’dale Robinson. Don’t know about this one guys. Seems like a Toney clone. I'm certainly not feeling this one. The bottom line is that we're not going to like every single pick. I liked a lot of players I liked better at that spot, but I think this kid is gonna be a playmaker for the team. he is gonna be a tough cover. |

They better make good picks in the 3rd rd or they'll send me off the edge. |

I don’t think that this speaks well on how they view Toney I think it is a combo of a lot of things. Golladay can't separate, Toney is injury prone, Shepard is injury prone, and Slayton is a one trick pony that has issues with drops. Our receivers aren't even an average group. They're underwhelming and unreliable. These are the kinds of receivers this team is going to be using.. Remember..Daboll is going to run a modern hybrid Erheart/Perkins with a lot of air raid elements.... these are the kinds of receivers we will be using a lot of...they probably morph away from having a true number 1 X type and have a lot of guys they move around and just read defenses and adjust to spots... He had 101 catches for over 1K yards in the SEC..... |

His comp is Beasley when I watched his high lights he is a dog runs hard with the ball in his hands and looks like one of those guys that LBs big Corners are gonna hate. |

And a more dynamic version Yup I remember when Schoen was hired he said Daboll told him what he wanted and they got him exactly that guy. This kid has versatility he runs it from the backfield catches from there and the slot this is what a lot of us want, a modern type offense multiple threats that will beat you multiple ways, Toney is a bigger more dynamic version more is like a minnie me of him. |

I can't necessarily say it was the best value at the spot, but Daboll and Schoen see in him a quality player who can play almost all skill positions. He was originally a RB at NU, and did really well in that spot.
And.....Dean is still out there, 8 picks away.
