Guess I saw that Tampa game different. I saw a Tom Brady led team driving at will against that Defense. They might not have put a stamp on the score with TDs but they sure as hell were consistantly knocking on the door. With how many OL starters from last year gone. Rookies on that line and with Goodwin hurt during the game. If he had Gronk, that score would have been 40-3 and a different story this morning.

Time to start watching tape on garoppolo. They have no cap space for a move like that

and I think Rush has beaten us before Think that was Andy Dalton. Can't imagine Cooper Rush started a whole game and beat the Giants. They had that vinucci fella start a game or 2 a couple years ago too, but I think we avoided losing to him. Was Dalton The game we had 2 TDs called back for tickets tack penalties

The Cowboys are done, their season is over. The Giants are going to take out years of frustration on that Cowboys team. They have something coming.

Brady looked great IMO But they did the smart thing by continually checking into running plays because yet again Dallas sucks vs the run ....

Interesting how only 1 week and the perspective changes instantly for the 1st 4 games We steal a game on the road vs a really good team,Dallas loses Dak,another starting o linrman, and their recievers other than Lamb and Shultz look like ours from last year...

You can switch “more than likely” to “definitely” Plate and screw getting put into a fractured hand. 8 weeks seems realistic. Yeah, they’re saying 6-8 weeks.

Without Dak the Cowboys may have a better team next week lol. Even better if they bench the Ewok.

They have no cap space for a move like that Are you sure? Even with the "cash over cap" loophole that teams are using now? (I admit I do not understand how it works)

I'd have to wonder what that additional weight on his throwing hand will mean, amongst the other aspects of the injury. Is there any history of other QBs having this done? Not sure if Phil Simms had any screws or plate put in his thumb when he was injured in 1983 in a game against the Eagles but I remember, although a bit vaguely, that even though it was reported as dislocated thumb, it was more serious. People in the know had said that it was a compound fracture of the thumb and bone was sticking out of his skin when he came off of the field. That injury cost him the entire season. The sad part was that Parcells had just made him the starter after he had benched him for Brunner. The rest is history!

Story has it that he was encouraged by the QB coach and the OC to watch film. Apparently he did not watch film in college nor until that point. So he studied the game and we know the outcome! Also, I think that Parcells kicked Phil's butt and ego hard enough to motivate him!
