He contributed. And he’s a great piece to have for depth.
But for whatever reason Tannenhill looked like he had tons of time yesterday. Ward played well too.
Both good guys to have, but not getting alot of pressure
Didn’t hear LW’s number much. That wasn’t awesome.

Let’s be real. The closest our defense got to Tannehill is at the team prayer. Randy Bullock was our best defender yesterday.

X and Ward did not get pressure on Tanny but Ward did a good job containing Henry while X Man did a good job getting his hand up on passes. Still Tanny went untouched most of the day. We need pass rushers in the game. We did not blitz much till late in the game.

6 tackles, 2 QB hits, huge batted pass. Not bad for a player buried on the bench by the previous staff.

He went in the tent at one time, and was said he had a bum ankle. He got tattooed by Crowder, which normally he would have left him for dead. It was the perfect storm, Tennessee’s biggest weapon was a cap pistol.

There were times he got solo tackled, which is unheard of with him. Normally, you need bear spray to get that monster down.

Our DL and the LBs played excellent against the run I'd imagine the defensive scheme was tweaked for 2 reasons - who was out for playing Edge, and who scares you more, Henry or Tannenhill?

I think the latter was the most important one even tho Tannihill showed with time he can hurt a team. After what the Titans did every team is gonna attack the slot and ILB through the air hard.

He went under the tent right afterwards. It was a herculean effort on our part to slow down that animal. However, the guy was playing with a bad wing. I’ve never seen him go down as much as he did on a solo tackle.

No one, in that presser, even asked him about going in the tent. I did see him go in though. Not sure if he was playing hurt or him just shaking off rust or maybe .....just maybe the Giants run D did their job very well on Sunday night.

Sending a team's #1 weapon to the tent early, is definitely doing their job. With all respect to Henry...

Yea he is a little lighter Brandon Jacobs model give him some space to get going and it's gonna hurt especially if it is a one on one. It is nice to have a back like that, that can put the fear into second level defenders. I remember reading the Cowboys DBs telling the front seven you guys gotta slow him down before he gets to us lol.

If we’re going to give credit to our defense. It’s the defensive lineman that gets the praise. Their stats won’t pop out on the box score, but they kept a good and physical titans line off their linebackers. Henry never got to the second level without being met by multiple defenders.

I think they brought it as hard as they could, landed some big blows on the big man. I do remember him going to the tent but he came out and when he could stick his foot in the ground and go he looked explosive to me. Giants are the team learning new systems and getting used to a lot of new faces first game rust should have been affecting them more. Titans have been in the systems the run for a while now are known as a technically sound team. Just for once in the last 10 years the Giants actually got some luck Missed field goal to go with some decent play. After losing couple on 60 + yarders I'm not gonna apologize.

This is money right here Lawrence had a nice statistical game but what I saw was Titans OL getting called for holding and it was well deserved because they missed several. Giants edges and interior DL controlled the LOS.

I would get Toney Jefferson on the field fast and lose one of the ILBs or if Pinnock is comfortable get him some time to.
