ALL-TIME SERIESThe two teams have met each other 120 times (including 1 postseason game), with the Cowboys winning 71, the Giants 47 games, and 2 ties. The two teams have only met once in the playoffs and we all know how that ended. But in the last 10 years the Giants have only won 5 of those 20 games.

Voted cows unfortunately. We could easily be 0-2 and so could they but I think they’ve played the better teams and have a better roster. A big difference could be whether Thibs and Azeez play, how much and how effective Thibs actually is. I’m guessing Leo is out which will really hurt.
I just keep picturing their D against Cincy and think the same could happen to us. My gut says we’ll get beat handily but there is a shred of optimism due to Dabs and Wink. Plus they are playing a back up QB with two NFL starts in 5 years, surely Wink can throw this guy off with disguises and pressures I’d hope.

Giants not likely to get beat badly. Wink's defense causes opponent offenses to make blocking mistakes, and for passes to be deflected on both ends.

I've seen Giants fans complaining that they don't have white jerseys for the white out on Monday, as if they're real Giants fans.

WR Brown will have a big game. And Parsons does too. Too much to overcome.

Read some varying Giants depth charts. Some have Bredeson and Glowinski starting at offensive guards with Peterson and Phillips as back-ups.
With Thomas and Neal starting at tackle and Hamilton and Ezeudu as back-ups.
Suspect that newly signed free agents Peterson and Phillips are now up to speed being comfortable in Giants offense.,Changes may also be related to the Giants offensive line's struggles in the first two games and having to deal with Parsons on Monday night.
Hope both Peterson and Phillips get to play and that they strengthen the Giants offensive line.
Sense that Giants only weakness may be fading. Hope so. Realize some Giants fans believe that Giants have other holes beside offensive line. I don't share that belief.

The Giants right now as we stand are out manned a bit but that doesn't mean they can't win these 2 teams are at different stages of then evolution of team building. I think if they can keep it close and they should they can wind in a close 1. 17-14 Giants.
Wild card for the terds is Gallup he is coming back if he is up to speed the task gets a bit tougher, There is no more Cooper but Gallup will take the heat off of Lamb.

Giants adding so many decent free agents just before the season started is going to be a difference maker. As Giants offensive line and defensive secondary is now decent and has more depth. Giants strengthening of secondary allows Wink to to use secondary backs to supplant ILs at times. and thus provide the Giants with better manch-ups.
Giants will even stronger when D.Robinson, A.Robinson, L.Williams, Pinnock, and McCloud all return. Just hope other Giants don't get injured for long periods of time.

We are gonna kick their azzez 40 - 6 and it won't be as close as the score indicates..Ouji board will have a a coupla sacks along with a fumble return for a TD. DJ will throw for 1 and run one in. SQB will also have a TD.. From this point forward the whole football world will be put on notice and will now fear the G-men.....
..........
Hmmm so thats what unfettered optimism feels like..kinda weird, strange..Not sure I like it...

I think we are about to b@tch slap these Cowboys. The NYG defense is about to go next level with our young studs joining the party. The offense will do just enough to get it done. They have a backup at the helm. Gallup is always an injury away from riding pine, he is whatever. A team with belief is hard to beat in this league.

Where are you guys coming with these Dallas will win numbers ( blowing out the Giants) Dallas Has yet to score 21 points in a game this year. Giants have yet to give up 21 points in a game this year. What has Dallas done this season to make you think they will roll over us? Please explain. Our lack of scoring on offense due to their defense is my biggest concern. They held a pretty good Bucs offense and TB to 19 points. They were relentless with Cincy, who may have a worse O line than us, but I’ll give Burrow and his receivers the advantage over ours. Burrow has received criticism for holding on to the ball too long so maybe DJ can learn from watching that game. Maybe Kafka is more prepared than Cincy’s OC, I dunno, but that’s why I think they may win by 7-10 points minimum. I don’t think they’ll score a lot of points, we just won’t score that many. They’re also getting Gallup back I believe but who knows how effective he’ll be. Like I’ve said, Rush looked better than everyone thought but he almost threw several INT’s. If he does that again and we capitalize, and DJ limits his turnovers, then maybe we have a shot. I dunno, so many factors. Fournette did great against them, Mixon didn’t do shit. I’m not saying the Giants can’t win, just going with my gut. It would make my season if they win this game AND Thanksgiving but if I had to choose, I’d rather see them lose at home on Thanksgiving. I’ll take either or though. Just beat these f’in posers for once to send their fanbase into chaos. Most Giants fans weren’t expecting anything this season, so a win is a bonus. Most cowboys fans were expecting playoffs at a minimum, then one and done. Then Dak got hurt and they started talking high draft pick, they beat Cincy and now they’re on Cloud 9 talking about how good Rush is and how their defense can carry them deep into the playoffs. If we can beat them with this offense, that will be a nice slap in the face to their defense and fans. Sorry for getting derailed there. *There is one caveat that could make me much more optimistic, getting Thibs and Azeez back. Of course, Thins has never taken a snap in the NFL so that will be exciting but we don’t know how effective he will be, especially after the injury (same with Azeez). Also, how much will they play. Lots of stuff to think about, both these teams could be quite a bit different than just a week ago.

Or D has been as good. Our O has been struggling also. We match up well with them Your points are valid except for Tampa. The Giants Offense has scored more than TB this season. TB has not scored 21 points in a game this season. That does not answer the first question i asked in my post. Why are we going to get blown out?

I don’t care what the points say, I think TB’s offense is light years better than ours. Does that mean we won’t put up 21 points on Dallas? No. Chicago beat SF, shit can happen. It’s still early in the season and teams are still figuring each other out. I’d say in another 2-3 weeks, things will settle down a lot and we’ll have a better idea of every team in the league. I gave you multiple specific reasons why I think we could get beat by 7-10 points with one caveat of Thibs and Azeez’s playing time and availability. You came back with a very general response. I don’t know what more you want.

We match up well against them.

I like stats (for the most part) but I would throw the first 3-4 weeks out the window. It’s such a small sample size and there’s too many other factors involved this early. Statistically speaking, we’ve won 3-4 games since 2013, how can I make that relevant to this argument? I’m not saying we can’t win and there are some seemingly equal match ups. You asked for our opinions, I gave you mine and now you keep arguing why I’m wrong (which I hope I am and very well may be). But you can stop replying because I’m not going to keep going back and forth. You asked, I gave you my reasons, that’s it. Hopefully you’re right, I’m not 100% convinced we’ll lose but this is a game I may throw $2-300 on the cowboys because I think they’ll win and if they do then at least I get something out of it and if they don’t I will be ecstatic to lose my money. *Normally I only do live bets so I’ll probably wait until after the first few series. *BTW obviously Vegas agrees with you even though the line moved from Giants -3.5 to -1 which is pretty significant
