Looks like he is going to miss this weekend as well. Welp, he is definitely making Schoen look good then now... It all came down to if he played or not. If he isnt playing, Schoen wins that trade hands down, even for 2 low picks. Sucks because that idiot has so much talent. "Reid did provide an update on WR Kadarius Toney, who missed Week 12 with a hamstring injury. This is the same hamstring issue that sidelined Toney when he was with the New York Giants.
While Toney is working hard to get back on the field, Kansas City is approaching this injury cautiously. Hamstrings are fickle and the injuries TO them can linger as this one has without proper recovery. The coaching staff and training staff want to ensure that when Toney returns from injury this time, he’s back on the field for the long haul.
“Yeah, so he’s working hard at getting back and we are being cautious with it,” Reid said. “We’ll see how he does this week as we go forward with it. We’re going to try not to bring him back and then have any setbacks after that. We don’t want to go through that.”
In order to make sure there are no setbacks, Reid isn’t committing to any sort of firm timeline for Toney’s return. He’ll take it day-by-day as the team returns to practice ahead of the Week 13 tilt with the Cincinnati Bengals on Wednesday.
“So, we’ll see,” Reid said. “We’ll just see how it goes. (He’ll) probably be day-to-day and we’ll just see where he’s at.”"working hard to heal a hamstring involves staying off it, and waiting for it to heal, right?

Sure he is...
He was out, what, 6 weeks here before being traded? If it didn't heal then, it isn't healing now. I use the word "heeling" lightly.

Chefs really need him. They are so missing a consistent deep threat.

so far Toney has missed a few games and is used more like a hybrid player returning punts, handoffs, some passes. Looks like Toney is still known more for making highlight reel jukes than taking over games.
I didn't like the trade at the time but think Hodgins has been more consistent than Toney since we picked him up and better at WR.

Giants still have a lot of holes, and needed the draft capital. At a minimum they can use those picks to trade up some spots or trade for someone.

We all know Mahomes and Reed will get the most out of him. To me he's a piece of shit. He quit on the Giants, 2 different HC's, He never gave his all, he wouldn't even play.
I hope he fails and is a bust or at least less than expected wherever he is K.C. or anywhere else. Getting rid of him in N.Y. is addition by subtraction, we weren't going to get anything out of him.
Another million dollar talent with a ten cent brain.

KT may have some sort of personality quirk that played a role in his time in NY as well as the injuries. If that is the case it will likely be an issue in KC in a year or two.

I already think they are overpaid but maybe not in the sense of what the owners make smh. Entertainment in general is overpaid while soldiers such as myself, teachers, first responders and even law enforcement smh, to name a few are vastly UNDERPAID but folks that make people laugh and entertain us are paid wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy way more smdh

Did anyone notice that Kelce recently said the exact same thing about Mecole Hardman? I thinking Kelce isn't all that bright and probably doesn't know many words.
