Our fan base is starting to suck us old school dudes that went to every game no matter weather or record are dwinding the youngsters don't wanna get their hair wet. This old guy was there, but you’re right, the passion of the old time fans is sorely lacking and yes, there were a ton of obnoxious Eagle fans there Many of whom will be in jail with a DWI charge and life ruined by 7:30 when they get profiled if they have Penn plates..... At least the north Jersey police fight back

Anyone that says Jones had a good game in his performance thread should be doing stand-up comedy. They wouldn’t be able to sell out a bathroom..[/quote Obviously you can’t have a great game if you aren’t given legitimate opportunities. It’s hard to say anyone had a great game when the team loses Lol. He played as well as he could have without having much to work with. If you put hurtz in giants today, you would have seen same outcome. When seeing the opposing teams qb make a couple of nice throws when he’s completely comfortable in the pocket without any pressure and has receivers that are constantly burning our dbs and then trying to compare jones against hurtz is pretty dumb. You have no understanding of football obviously.

Can’t pass protect to save their lives, and people criticize Jones. It wound up the Giants gave up 7 sacks. Who know how many pressures.

He would have been the MVP of the SB? C'mon, man; you've gotta be kidding. Comedy aside, I agree his Browns tape was very good, so what? He's years and major injuries removed from that. And as you say, he had bad QB play there. Do you expect he's going to get good QB play here in the next two years? He's getting Jones, Taylor or some other stop gap. So why would they pay him $15M a year for potentially low end #1 WR numbers? That seems like a bad investment to me. He had 2 catches 52 yards and a TD before he got hurt in the second Quarter, after he went down they couldn't move the ball until the 4th. He would have had 100 yards and likely multiple TDs so yeah. I do believe that. OK, I just hope your plan at WR makes more sense than mine. Especially if Jones is the guy going forward That's way, way too much projecting for me. Even if that did happen, MVP then probably goes to the QB, but your dreams are yours to have. I don't see it at all. My plan is not to waste money on a former #1 WR past his prime when we don't have the QB position settled. Ou say he suffered from bad QB in Cleveland - which I agree with - how is it better here over the two years you want to sign him? Corollary talent can be obtained cheaper and that money is more valuable elsewhere on the roster at this time, imo.

Sadly I still get upset over the 1958 Championship sudden death loss to, at that time, the hated Unitas led Colts! Than we lost to Green bay twice and once to Chicago when Tittle got hurt, all Championship games! Don't remember that one! The 70's are a blurr. Late 60's in the Army! I remember all those games I was a teenager during those years. It was the greatest era of Giant football. From 1956 thru 1963 the Giants went to 6 Championship games in 8 years. Sadley we only won 1 Championship in 1956 beating the Chicago Bears. Yankee Stadium had 2 Championship Flags flying on top of the stadium that year. The Yanks and the Giants. We must have had close to 10 HOF players on those teams. Lots of the Giants players lived nearby in union county! Rosey Gier was the bank guard in Roselle! Webster lived in Westfield! No FA than!

Iggles had intensity, the whole game, the Giants were surely out played but tackling and blocking had no intensity nothing looked good out there today just horrible. Toughest loss for Dabol with a team that was not prepared today. Just replace "intensity" with "talent" and we 100% agree. The the most talented players play with more intensity, hit holes harder, run faster, break tackles, fall forward. We don't have talent. Okay, talent but then intensity, lol I’ll take talent no doubt! Man, I just want a competitive team at this point, it sucks again. That losing feeling is coming back again and I just tired of it.

this may effectively end all this ridiculous playoff talk nonsense. Pointless to even want this team anywhere near the playoffs. This team needs a lot of help and at this juncture all more wins will do is push them further down the draft order. Who wants to see a playoff game that would prob be like this one. Its 1 game. Next week vs Washington was always going to be the deciding game for the playoffs. I want to see the playoffs. I'd never choose to lose instead of making the playoffs. We play every season trying to win. this team would just set themselves back rebuilding wise. And youd get a chance to see them get clobbered They need players like this guy from Jacksonville who had 11 catches for 162 yards and 2TDs

I agree, but he’s not a 1 anymore, hasn’t been for years. and we paid top dollar for Golladay, who has been mia the entire contract. That is one of the worst free agent signings for any team in NFL history. That's how bad a signing he was. It would have been better to just burn the money.. literally. At least we'd have an open roster spot. How many starters were pulled? That could indicate who they expect to be the core of the future, ex SB who I think will be franchised then traded for a third round pick. At least I hope so.

How exactly with practice squad at best complimentary players in this WR corps and an oline that is clearly still not a NFL quality oline.

Lets put this into perspective:
We don't suck but the Igs are SB contenders. On another level. We are (starting) the rebuild, Igs are already there. It will take us another 2 years for us to be on that level. This wasn't the only the only beatdown today.. The 49ers stomped on the Bucs. I actually felt bad for Brady, he looked his age today

Embarrassing bunch of dopes today. They truly suck. They are back to they suck until they don. Pathetic are you actually surprised??? This was destined to be a blow out. I said it all week and even on knoxxs page where all the Homer's were calling for an upset. We get destroyed and embarrassed by philly even when the giants are good most if the time. I dont know why they expected anything different today with a JV roster at certain positions Nope....I expected to lose. I even predicted 34-17. I dodnt expect to be total no show making simple mistakes all game. They looked poor in almost every aspect.

Seems like Barkley runs into congested areas s lot and doesn't look for open areas.
Agree that Philly has overall better talent. But if Giants roster was at full strength the Giants would have been more competitive, Eagles would still have won by 10 plus points. Wouldn't seem Giants best over the top as much as they were.
The Eagles plays, play calling. and defensive schemes were far superior to the Giants and that concerns me the most when the Giants do some day do have a better roster.

I'm confident that Jones would have performed quite well If he played with players as good Philly has, had as much time to throws as Hurts did, and had players getting open.
Camera angles taken from behind Jones often showed Jones had no one one to throw to as Giants receivers were covered.
Jones has a more accurate arm than Hurts. That would have been evident if the Giants could have pressured Hurts. They didn't.

As for the lame ass supporting cast defense, he had all his brothers in arms the first three weeks of the season. Only player that was missing was a rookie, Wan’Dale Robinson. And he still put up pedestrian numbers. And that was with the best running back in the game behind him. The offense got exposed once Barkley sustained exhaustion, and a shoulder injury from holding this pathetic offense up for eleven weeks.

Snap counts: A couple of interesting tidbits - Golladay only in on 11 snaps healthy Barkley clearly not healthy. This is why we dont give him a contract. Sorry. Flott barely playing out there... Is he the next bust at CB? Ximines and Belton also barely seeing the field still

He’s a one trick pony, take away his speed and he plays patty cake with the offensive tackle. Those massive mountains watch film too, they see he can be swallowed up.
