The goal should be to get to 3-4 going into the Skins game. If this team can get to 4-4, we have a shot at winning the div .

A good friend of mine is an Eagles fan and he has some observations 1.both OTs seem shot 3.Wentz has been very timid in the pocket as far as running 5.the TEs are basicly the passing offense and they can go 3 of them on the field and all 3 are legit passing game threats (gulp) 6.Secondary still sucks and very vunerable in the middle of the field to TEs and backs
So we might finally get some pressure on tbe qb,even more so if we get Vernon back 1. When you say shot, do you mean they're bad or playing hurt? I thought the Eagles had one of the best OL's in the league? 3. If their OT's are actually playing poorly, or whatever, Wentz being hesitant to run would be a nice combination for us. Especially if OV does happen to play. Mobile QB's and TE's always seem to kill us. 5. As mentioned above, and as seen for years, we have a hard time covering the middle of the field. 6. Engram would be a great weapon to have this week. Hopefully Rhett is able to play. Vernon will be huge if he plays, and if he plays anywhere near 100%. We could really use him. OL gives up some pressure early but continues to progress, and we continue to push it down field leveraging PA on offense. Defense continues to give up plays across the middle, but gets pressure and creates turnovers....overall one of our better games in recent memory. Giants win 27-24.

I don't get why people think this being a home game really helps out the Giants. Some Thursday games are like that when the NFL schedules back to back away games for that traveling team, but the Eagles were at home last week and the Giants were in Carolina. This is probably one of the most favorable Thursday schedules for a traveling team given their close proximity to Giants stadium.

Eagles may be a bus trip, but they still need to come to us. Eagles were also a 4:25 kickoff Sunday so their guys finished play close to 8 PM on Sunday. These Thursday games are ridiculous so even those few extra hours of recovery are a factor. The Eagles OTs look terrible. Wentz abd Jeffery have had no time together. They lost Ajayi and are replacing him on the fly all on a short week. It’s more of an advantage than a Sunday home. They need a win, take any advantage they can get. I think they win. If this game was in philly I would not feel that way.

From what I have heard, read & seen of Philly this yr is that they have been hit hard by the injury bug, Wentz is playing timid & is rusty, they just lost their best RB for the yr & already have the same amount of losses from all of last yr. If the Giants can't beat them now when they are vulnerable, then they really deserve to finish last again this yr. Giants are on life support at 1-4, Philly has their hand on the plug. Can the Giants prevent them from pulling the plug tonight. Been a bad week with 1 hated foe pulling the plug on the Yanks, will another hated foe pull the plug on the Giants season tonight? And both on our turf!

They almost never go as expected, just one of those things. I see a lot of alcohol in my near future (between 7ish and 11pm tonight )

We kick a 68 yard field goal with a 1/2 second left in the game for the win!

My gut tells me we win this game. Having our best pass rusher back really helps. Their D backfield is a total mess! Shut down their TE and Alshon is the only other threat. They really only have 2 RBs left and the best one is playing with an ongoing hip injury. Our guys will he fired up after Sunday’s devastating loss! GO GIANTS!!!

Is everyone underrating the Eagles here? Giants are probably facing their toughest opponent yet. I've been optimistic for a win every week of this season, but this one is giving me a serious case of pessimism.
It's going to be ugly, not sure who comes out on top, but there will be blood.

I can't remember the last time we beat them, not optimistic. Our "best pass rusher" hasn't been worth the money we are paying him. It's a big game for both teams but bigger for the Eagles. They will want it more then us and will win. I'm not a pessimist or optimist, I deal with reality! PS - Hope I'm wrong! 2hebpqr

I'm going against my better judgement and say the giants come out strong after all the BS and drama that's happend the past week. As I write this I feel like i'm lying to myself and maybe I am, but i'm sticking to it lol. I just want a good game tonight. Eagles have had our number for way to long, itll be a big test for the offense the front 7 of the ealges will not make it easy.

The last three matchups between Eagles and Giants went: 34-27, 27-24, and 24-19, all to the birds. Oddly the Giants scored in losing exactly the same as the Eagles scored in winning the game before!
I then calculated the winning percentage of the Eagles to be 21% more than the Giants on average. Using Trajectory Theory and mathematical extrapolation plus an old Answer-Orb I predict..... Eagles 41 Giants 34. I like it but I'm going the opposite way with it. Eagles 19 Giants 13 I concur. Bad teams find ways to lose. Good teams find ways to win. If this was just a good team not even a great team they'd be 4-1 not 1-4 So I'll go 27-17 Eagles and 1-5 at the end of the night

I picked the Giants in every game this year. Had them 35-30 last week and was almost right. I'll pick against them this week and see if that works

Thunderstorms in area I don’t like the idea of a wet game at all. I really like our playmaker advantage on the short week. Hopefully it doesn’t turn into a sloppy mess if a game.

Wet fields tend to favor the playmakers considering they know where they are going. Also it's not a grass field so it's not going to turn into a sloppy mess

is tonight's game a color rush game or are they just breaking out the retro white 80's uniforms just because? if we win big wearing them we should wear them more often.

This one is on prime video, so won't have to wrestle with a live stream thankfully.
