F the Astros, go Nats!!! I can't believe how one sided the home plate ump was last night. He was calling balls strikes for the Astros pitchers and strikes balls for ours. Makes all the difference in a tight game. That rotted big time.

That would have been two strikes and he likely doesn't make it to first....end of inning, altuve doesn't get up.

When did having mental issues become a joking matter? This is a poster who pretends to be a marine on a fan message board. He has a multitude of his own mental issues to deal with. Oh, it's fatbody, the maggot who never had the cojones to serve, talking crap about those that did. How are ya buddy?

Did every call go against NY? I want the NY to win too.The truth is they had opportunities to win and failed. The result is they got beat by a team that made less mistakes. You cannot hang a series on one call or any calls. NY allowed that to happen by placing their fait in the hands of the officials.

The umpire was atrocious last night and the Yanks were pitiful with RISP the entire series. They rely on the HR way too much. That shit works in the regular season, but gets neutralized in the postseason when you are seeing the best pitchers.

He does one thing and does it well. He uses a bitter demeanor to influence an emotional response from those who choose to converse with him. If the board ignores his vitriol. Perhaps he goes away or changes his approach to conversation.

Some incredible defensive plays last night by the Stros. IMO, they were the difference in the game.

For what it's worth from a Sox fan....i thought the Yankees were the best team in baseball. Tough way to lose.
They had all kinds of injuries and kept coming at you. I thought this was their year.

You cannot hang a series on one call or any calls. NY allowed that to happen by placing their fait in the hands of the officials. I don't think the 3 other losses were obscured by the officiating, unlike last night which clearly was. There were at least a half dozen called strikes that were clearly balls went against them. And worst of all as I've said was the Springer check swing that was clearly a strike (even schmolz said so) that was let stand as a ball. That would have been strike 2 and he goes into defensive mode at the plate , rather than take everything from there and walk. Most likely an out. That bogus walk brings up altuve....we all know what happened. And again earlier in the game Didi's bat was no where near crossing the plate on check swing and they called it a strike...again even schmolz agreed bat didnt cross plate. Yes I conclude the volume of bogus calls tipped that game in favor of Astros. Would Yankees have won tonight? I don't know odds were against them with Cole, but they would have earned the right to have that chance , and we as fans to witness it .

When the Mets lost in the WS a few years back .There were no excuses or blaming it on the officials. The got beat by a team that played better just as Houston did against the Yankees. The question should be. Why did NY allow the officials to take control of their fait.

Man, it's going to hurt when it's 8:00pm on Tuesday night. Hurts tonight knowing they should be out there now playing. As for the WCS I don't care. I lose interest in a game or series when I feel at least one of the teams didn't earn their spot or win.

And Verlander tagged for 2 earned runs top of 1st in game 2. I knew these guys were vulnerable. Nats - Yankees would have been better series.

Greinke vs Corbin.... Could easily be 3-0 after Game 3!!
