The only way it's possible is if we do a sign and trade. Saquon would have to agree to it. And another team would have to give him the money SQB wants which is way over market value. Outlook not so good. They should just draft a RB mid round and let him walk after 2023. No way we pay him what he wants. I agree but Schoen decided to trade away extra draft capital to move up 1 spot. |

The Giants cannot even discuss trading Saquon until he signs the tag. You can’t trade a player that is not on your team.

SB also ran the wild cat several times and did it very well. That was a cool addition to the game plan.

I'll tell you what the Eagles have here. Swift (2022:542 yards) - A talented yet often injured RB that began to shy away from contact (reason for his decline in carries) Penny(2022:346 yards) - We thought Toney was made of glass...missed nearly 2.5 years of play...playing in 42/82 total games in 5 years. Most recently breaking his leg and suffering the (usually re-occuring) high ankle sprain. Gainwell (2022:181 yards) - A pretty avg backup that's more suited to being a third down receiver Boston Scott(2022:217) - This one I feel doesn't need an explanation but if not for playing against the Giants, Scott wouldn't even be on an NFL roster...his stats are an absolute joke if you cut out the Giants games...but I guess that's reason to keep him...2 good performances every year against us 1,286 rushing yards COMBINED between 4 different RBs in 2022 that are either built like a HS freshman or get injured doing jumping jacks. Really it's a "wow look at this player's name! it's been called before" backfield, other than "quality RB group with depth" Barkley > all those RBs + Sanders (if he was still there) combined. Eagles didn't "fleece" anybody with those acquistions...really it's a prayer. The Eagles will continue to struggle for championships until they get a coach that values workhorse RBs...Coincidentally, their only SB win came upon having those players...in Ajayi and Blount...absolute fools So yeah, to me, that demographic is a good laugh, thanks! |
