See them run the ball with someone other than SQB last week was not encouraging and if the starters go make it easy on Daboll to remove them after a couple series by scoring points.
On defense finish and get after the QB stand tall against the run Carolina ran their ones out there in preseason game one for a few series should be a good challenge.
Special teams get some return yardage and don't let the Rabbit out of the trap

If starters are in the game, they should dominate on both sides of the ball if Daboll opens the offense and Wink does the same on the defensive side of the ball.

I would like to see the line hold up long enough for DJ to find his receivers. I want to see how our additions to the WR room are panning out. Really want to see Hyatt's speed in action with the 1's.

They didnt play at all last week. |

As I recall last year, the starters only played for a few plays in game 2 of pre-season. My guess is if the starting offense gets one long, successful drive, Daboll will probably pull most of them. |

Just want to see Neal do ok against their first defense if either play. I really don’t give a shit about the rest, it’s pre season and hard to take much away unless Jones just misses wide open guys, offensive line gets manhandled, their rookie QB throws all over our defense, etc.
Now as far as what I expect…the fact that Carolina’s O line may be worse than ours and because they have a rookie QB who got his ass handed to him in their first pre season game against the Jets, I would think our defense should look dominant against their offense but I definitely won’t be reading anything into it because they should look dominant against this team.

With that said I always like to see more good than bad. As far as expectations if our 1s play they better play well.

The draft is more exciting IMO and I don’t even get into the draft nearly as much as some do. Just get to game 1 already. *At least they shortened it to 3 games, that was a big relief. |
