If Saquon plays, Giants lose by 3ish (possibly sneak out a close one). If Saquon is out, Giants lose by 7+. I think this is a better Seattle offense than most Giants' fans think...hope I'm wrong. You think a hobbled Barkley means that much? Last time he came back from a high ankle sprain he was essentially useless for weeks.

this team has been so disappointing in 10 of 12 quarters of football. I am down on them big time. They are back into "they suck until they don't" category. See if they can actually play 4 quarters of decent football. At this point I dont see it. Coaching and players are AFU at the moment. Prove me wrong NYGs and tell me to STFU!! All I can think of is if you have ever seen the Water boy Rob Schnider plays cajon fan water boy goes awol and he says WE SUCK AGAIN!!!!!!!!! at my age I'm done until they prove they are a good team. Actually everything about this team annoys me so soft on D and can't run block or protect even in Max pro. My hope is these young players they have plugged in all over the place grow and become a good solid foundation thats questionable right now. yep...have seen that movie a bunch of times. I am just so sick of building up confidence and then being kicked ibn the nuts. I thought that was over with Daboll and company. I thought Jones finally had the switch turned on ( when I doubted he would get there). Though this team was ready for the next step. Instead, they shit the bed in 10 of 12 quarters of football and embarrassed themselves. I expect them to progress in a positive fashion this season but I surely didnt think the start would be so piss poor. I figured they'd be 1-2 to start but hoped for 2-1. They way they go to 1-2 is pathetic actually. Tonight is another national game. See what they do. Its great weather and playing a team that shouldn't be dominant like the Cowturds or the Niners. At this point I expect them to have a decent first drive, shit the bed for a few drives and then hopefully rise above their poor play and finally start to be the team they should be

Can we get a Zach Wilson-like performance from DJ tonight? Let that one echo a bit longer and then realize how desperate we’ve become, lol. The sad part is, it’s true.

Can we get a Zach Wilson-like performance from DJ tonight? Didn't he miss two open receivers in the end zone? More accurately I'd say let's get a Jets-like performance from the OL!

31-23 Shehawks and Gena Smith. i like the Shehawks and Gena Smith touch. That will show where my head is at with this game. All Joking aside the Hawks are a good team and getting some guys back in the secondary and OL. Giants will be 1 dimensional because they are excellent against the run they will use the blue print rush 4 or 5 Giants keep 6 in to protect, giving them numbers in the secondary that way thye can help out their ailing pass They get Wollin back and the X jet Anderson. Seahawks are a meh team this year, and their defense is broken. 3 CBs are OUT for this game. Pass rusher out. No excuses why DJ cant pick them apart. If he needs to, throw the ball out quick. Find the mismatch. Carve them up. I pointed out that DJ has an average time of 2.6 seconds between snap and throw. Puts him.... I think it was 14th in the NFL. He needs to process faster and make pre snap reads better with our leaky OL. He has slashers. Campbell, Slayton, Robinson, Hyatt deep, Waller in the middle. And of course, the legs option.

Listen, I get it, the Giants aren't a good team (again, and again, and again), but this one is a must win IMO. Seattle's defense is the weak link so we need to exploit that. If we win it will be a high scoring game. DJ needs to play the role. No turnovers. Find the guys deep. Find Waller. Hit guys in stride. If we lose, its probably because the offense lost it and couldnt take advantage of a weak defense. .

It's truly been a group effort, or lack there of.

Might be time to put that "hopeless" back in your avatar lol The offense needs to score at least 30 points in this one.

DJ needs to step up and prove he’s worth his contact. The Texans, Colts, Commanders, and Cardinals were expected to tank or be at the bottom of the barrel, and I’ve watched their young QBs have success with similar or less talent around them. Simply put, DJ needs to be better pre-snap, he needs to get better with progressions post snap, and he needs to get rid of the ball quicker and to the correct target more often. Enough is enough. On offense, we need Hyatt and Slayton on the field together early and often to force defenders off the LOS. We need to stick with the run and use play action. We need to stop with the dink and dunks. Why do I feel like I’m watching Jason Garrett’s offense again? On defense, if we’re going to blitz at such a high rate, we need to stop playing so soft on the outside. Jam the WRs to disrupt timing. We should start using more of a 4-3 base to help stop the run. And we need to man up and make a tackle. Coaches need to get their heads out of their asses. I went into every game last season with confidence, but we’ve been out coached in our first three games. I haven’t been impressed with the gamelan on either side of the ball. What happened to the aggression and creativity? If this keeps up we won’t have to worry about losing either of our coordinators next off-season. [br This has nothing to with pre or post snap progressions. Dj is good at going through his progressions very quickly. That was one of his strengths coming out of college. Teams are getting pressure without blitzing so pre snap doesn’t apply. This is about the offensive line giving dj a reasonable amount of time. I’m not talking about being as good as the Dallas or phili ol, but just 10 percent of their lines. Dj has to make smart decisions and push it down the field when there is an opportunity. The giants don’t have the talent around him on ol or defense to recover from turnovers against good teams. For the most part, he has been making smart decisions. Has he pushed the ball down the field enough? Maybe he can do that more but you also need 3rd down conversions and some time to throw.

I am saying this current shit show is on all of them. I am not hopeless but they suck until they dont. They are at that point again. I would like to see all phases do well for a refreshing change. How about the O scores 30+ and the D holds the Hawks to <20. STs does there job without screwing up either. They are not even 2 years into the rebuild they are only at the start of the 2nd season scheduled games. I am not losing patience but I am am losing the built up confidence I had for this team and staff. I guess its my fault for expecting them to come out this season and not utterly embarrass themselves for 10 quarters.

Not sure he took a step forward last year, or just took out a lot of risk in his game to reduce turnovers. I dont know. Its so hard to tell anymore which way is up and which way is down when the team just blows. I expected a 1-2 start this season looking at the schedule, but I did not expect the blowout losses. Hell, we were getting our teeth kicked in by Arizona too. Not what you need to see from this team. Its a regression from last year IMO. They came out flat and lost. Thats on the HC. If Neal and KT bust out, thats on the GM. And that will put us right back into rebuild mode. See ya in 5 more years... They need to SHOW UP at the very least tonight. 1-11 in DJs career in primetime. A lot of blowouts. Cant see that tonight or its back to the drawing board.

This team is at a crossroads thye have 0 to hang there hat on the defense does nothing at an NFL level the offense can't run it and are having big issues throwing to part of it is OL play some of it is timing just not being there teams rush 4 or 5 that leaves 6 or 7 in coverage 0 respect for play action they gotta get there shit together all facets.

I thought last year they had some decent vets that helped steady the ship and they showed heart winning games that or the most part over the last 10 years they would lose. As far as Jones goes thought by mid year he was taking ownership of that offense they started to open it up he seemed to have a comfort level with his guys was anticipating where they would be, letting the ball go early I think he had great chemistry with Rchie James. agree this is big time regression from every position group including QB the draft picks to me mostly look soft Banks 2 out of the 3 games has left the game for minor injuries not to return the other kid looked scared to hit the RB in the hole last week. If they stay like this they will pick top 5 and I think DJ becomes the bridge QB for a new rookie.

can't see the season meaning much if we lose tonight. Even with a win tonight its a long shot. This team has to play completely different then it has up until this point. Outside of 2 qts they've looked about as bad as a NY football giant team as I've seen in awhile both offensively and defensively. its not bc of one group, or one player, its bc they're all quite literally sucking.. that needs to change and in a hurry.
Go Giants!

Not 100% sure what you quoted because it didn't seem to come through properly, but I agree the OL is absolutely part of the problem. They have been for about 12 years and I've been leading the charge to get it fixed since our last Super Bowl win. That said, DJ was paid a substantial amount of money this past off-season. Whether you agree with the extension or not, players making as much as him have to be able to overcome shortcomings. As much as I want us to have a top tier OL, there appear to be plenty of QBs having success with less time to throw than DJ. Take this for what it's worth, because I was surprised to read it myself, but based on the two links below DJ ranks closer to the top of the league than he does the bottom in terms of time in the pocket. He's averaging anywhere from 2.4 to 2.8 seconds which is middle of the pack at worst. This isn't a DJ rant, he simply needs to be better. nextgenstats.nfl.com/stats/passing#average-time-to-throwwww.pro-football-reference.com/years/2023/passing_advanced.htm
