Man I admire the genius of the Shanahans and I only wish he was available at any time when we made a head coaching change. Dang dang dand lmfao and smh. I mean whe he and Lynch has built over there is remarkable. To watch them and to think about what we have here and have had for far far too damn long all you can do is watch in awwwww at how he creates mismatches, has his team prepared week in and week out, the physicality, ect ect ect. .....
If I had to switch teams this is the type of team hands down that I'd be all over.....................
and I didn't even mention Purdy. Off today so listening to some shows to reiterate what I already knew, just look at how calm and collected the last player taken in the draft is in Mr. Irrelevant. Nothing faces the dude, he's even calmer than Eli was. The win streak, the putting way he quickly processes information and makes decisions throwing to whomever is open, the accuracy, man ole man that's a quarterback. It's befuddling how NO ONE saw that and he almost went undrafted. Why was he almost or probably not on any draft boards? What was the cons with him?
They also talked about how creative Shanahan is and also the OC with the Lions in how they don't stay status quo with how they use plays and how they evolve. Even what we just saw yesterday with Miami. A lot of times you won't win with just execution you have to evolve with your creativity as well. As much as we talk shit about Dallas even they , well let me rephrase we would take their offense over ours any dang day but of course when Dallas plays the big dogs they look below average. But goes to show you how far we are off when we'd take their offensive production in a heartbeat over the junk we've been seeing.
The 49ers are on their way ladies and gents. If they stay healthy this team is going to be a problem for the entire NFL for a long long time........

The 49ers took a huge gamble hiring Lynch with less than nothing front office experience. The only thing he knew about contracts and building a roster is walking by the front office during his playing days. Rarely if ever former players make that jump without learning to swim. It paid off.. and San Francisco is reaping the rewards.
Most of their studs are mid round draft picks. They also got Washington on the line once they heard the grumbling about Trent Williams. John Lynch made a living out of taking the heads off of receivers. Now he ditched the shoulder pads.. for a suit and he’s still killing it.

If Purdy doesn't get hurt vs philthy last year I have no doubt they are in the SB playing the chiefs again..........

Tough pill to swallow after selling to the owner that they gave up draft capital for a guy whose career was a fart in the wind. Purdy is showing that you can find a quarterback in the least of all places. Mr. Irrelevant has now become relevant.

The 49ers also aren't saddled with a mid QB making a lot of jack. They are very proactive. Instead of forcing Trey Lance to work based on where he was drafted, they cut bait when it became clear that it was not going to work out. Futhermore, their owner is out of sight and mind. I wish that we followed a similar model to theirs.

Speaking of San Francisco, what they're doing to Dallas should be rated NC-17.

49ers have no weaknesses. Fun to watch them play - just dominant at every level.
What happened to Jimmy Garoppolo? I like Purdy and his Mr. Irrelevant story..great pick...and think he is good, but don't think the 49ers are amazing mainly because of him.
He was an all-world stud on the 49ers and now looks like junk on the Raiders.

I am embarrassed beyond description and I can be quite descriptive. My level of pizzed offness is off the scale almost to the point of jumping off this Cowboy bandwagon that I have been on for 57 years since I was 12 years old. I stayed away from sports media and off the internet all day yesterday. Its cooler here in Texas and I spent time out in nature all day. About to go back out now, but taking time to vent here as I have on a couple of other more Cowboy friendly sites.
I am over Jerry Jones so far that it is indescribable. Alone, he is the one constant in 27 years of Cowboy fan frustration. He puts together a team just like Grandma used to piece together a quilt which is haphazard. Beyond anything this team needs an out of the box thinking GM. Innovative thinking is key to a successful organization and the 2 organizations that jump out at me are SF and Philthy. They deserve their dues. The bit posted by myronguyton29 about SF GM Lynch is soooo profound.
I posted this on another site this goes directly to the GM I lament so heartily about above. "Are there any older successful coaches in the League other than Pete Carroll who is just an outlier? The ones that can develop and be successful in the 2023 NFL are all pretty damn young and this goes for the good coordinators too. These old coaches think what worked 15 years ago will cut it now but all in all it doesn't. That was Garretts problem, that is Fat Mac's problem too. That year sabbatical in the barn did nothing for Fat Mac but marry him up to a bunch of older washed out coordinators. Not that KM was the answer but at least he'd think outside the box some. There was Bruce Arians but he had TB. The NFL steamed past these older, stuffy thinking coaches."
Bones Fassel is OK as an older guy but he's not a HC or really a coordinator (yeah, I know he is the ST coordinator which he is great at).
It all goes to the organization folks.
Well, fishing is outstanding now and hunting season is here while it is cool enough outside to work so to heck with the Cowboys for now. You'll not see me pumping their sorry azzes up here anymore ... disgusted, embarrassed, hurt, and burnt out ! (FTR I posted similar stuff after the Divisional loss to this team ). I'm Bob and I'm on a break! Skrew Jerrah !

His family and cronies are still there despite a new GM and HC. And as long as they remain their incompetency will continue to screw up the Giants. Our FO seems to think that it is still 1973 instead of 2023. I have said that a clean sweep of the FO and the Mara clan with the Godfather (John Mara) staying the F out of football operations. (unfortunately he can't help but meddle) Only then we might be able to become competitive. BTW I am binge watching Yellowstone now. Awesome show, the characters and plotline are whacked but its still a good story line. The setting is stunningly beautiful. I've read that part of the series is filmed in North Texas just wondering if you knew anything about that. I think Taylor Sheridan has a big ranch out there

Have you read all the krap going on with Costner and season 5? www.menshealth.com/entertainment/a45470813/yellowstone-season-5-part-2-cast-news-updates/The part filmed in Texas is at the Four Sixes Ranch Up in the southern panhandle of Texas. Almost half a million acres and Taylor Sheridan just bought it. Info here: www.6666ranch.com/ and here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/6666_RanchI have a buddy that sold his ranch down here where I live and moved up in the area to raise quarter horses . . . the greatest breed of horse alive IMO. Very wooded in my area with a huge timber industry. I have 50 acres of timber and live on the place . If you don't live here folks have no real idea how big Texas really is and how diverse the terrain and topography is. BTW in my drives through NY I was immensely impressed with the beauty of some areas. And I lived in Maine for almost 2 years and consider upstate NY more appealing to the eye. Not thrilled with the city (NYC) fo sho but I'm a country boy. I'm still pissed at the Cowboy organization and I mean pissed to the point of considering divorce. I can get my football fix from college and HS. Texas HS football rocks. OK, I'm rambling. Might be the tequila. Take care.

Now he ditched the shoulder pads.. for a suit and he’s still killing it. he’s been phenomenal. Across all sports, a lot of ex-players are awful in the front office. Then you get a few that have a keen sense of evaluating players. It’s like they played with 6th sense and can recognize those traits in others.

He is going through a brutal divorce and that does affect things. Good actor though. I think egos are in the way and Taylor Sheridan is a different breed of cat than the average Hollywood feline... 500K acre ranch and $347M? Man, I know he has a few hit series but you have to have some serious co-signers to come up with that type money. Thats Rockefeller or Dupont trust money.. Never been to Texas but I flew over it a few times However I did vacation in the NY State and SE Penn Lancaster Co (Amish country) beautiful areas clean water and delicious food.. The Amish are ..uhhh interesting.... In the summer you can smell them before seeing them especially on hot days Well as for the Cowboys you guys at least have playoff hopes, we don't even have a prayer. We are back were we started when the Godfather hired the Fudge to be the GM (Godfather - Mara, Gettleman - Fudge)

Dennis Green, Bill Walsh, and Tony Dungy. Men who lived.. breathed.. and died for the game. Lynch understood that to hang in this league, you need dominate in the trenches. But sure now we have to see how they bounce back the next time they face a D like that. Also didn't help that Deboe and Mac went out. But yeah for them it's welcome to the party of how things have been going for us with the injuries.........

The NFL steamed past these older, stuffy thinking coaches."Bones Fassel is OK as an older guy but he's not a HC or really a coordinator (yeah, I know he is the ST coordinator which he is great at). Skrew Jerrah ! wait are you a cowgirl lol? Thought that was a known quality around here. Hell, I've been posting here for years, never trolling but trying to post well thought out, logical material. And as far as me being a Cowgirl that is the case only if you're a VaGiant .
