What do you guys think? Will McCarthy end up being taken before Maye?

Maybe. No QB is fantastic in this draft…so any of them could go ahead of the other.

Maye had a good pro day, don't they all. He did throw a couple 75 yd TD completions. Yes 75 yds. When all is said and done I find so many times that the draft winds up with players going where they originally thought they were going. If I had to guess the 3 QB's go 1) Williams, 2) Daniels, and 3) Maye.
#4 and #5 seem to be the picks in play. If Minny doesn't come up and decides to keep their 1st rd picks I think they take Pennix at #11 if McCarthy is gone.
So if Minny stays put the Cards take Harrison and the Chargers take Odunze I would guess.
Leaves us the choice McCarthy or Nabors. Who knows in 1-2 weeks everything could change. So many scenario's. Less than 30 days to go.

Maye is by far my least favorite of the “big 3” and maybe even behind McCarthy. Unfortunately, I think Schoen has wanted Maye all along.

They got the opinion of 1 person.
You can find one person that has each of the top 4 QBs as #1. Doesn't really matter. Hell there was only 1 person that had LT ranked #2 in 1981, luckily that fool worked for the Saints and had the first pick. Who do the Bears think is the top guy? Then the Commanders, then Pats etc.

I'm sick of all the BS and and smokescreens leading to the draft. Can't believe we still have almost a month to go

What do you guys think? Will McCarthy end up being taken before Maye? I’ve been saying that since draft talk began for this draft. I believe I was mocked and being told McCarthy had second round value - no way he was better than Maye. Maye looks a little nervous in the service at times. I’ve never seen McCarthy look rattled, gun shy or frustrated in 28 games.

What do you guys think? Will McCarthy end up being taken before Maye? He’s the better QB in my opinion so for me the answer is yes. It wouldn’t necessarily surprise me if Maye was picked first - Maye and Williams are my least favorite of the Fab Five.

Unless we can move up without giving up an extra1st or 2nd rounder, I hope that we stay put. Landing Nabers or Odunze (whomever they prefer) at 6 is not a bad thing if all 4 fo the top QBs are taken, assuming that MHJ is the first non QB off the boards.

Seems like the world is split on what the Giants will do. Will it be QB or will it be a WR?
It's going to be a fun draft night not knowing what they will do.
"With the 6th pick in the draft, the New York Giants select....Terrion Arnold, CB, Alabama." lmao.

I think ALL of these QB's can be good NFL QB's not one of them are lacking Physical Tools they all have more than good arms, all have some Athleticism, it comes down to a good Offensive Scheme/System
Whoever gets to work with Kliff Kingsbury and with the Weapons Washington already has in place...that QB likely has the best chance to win Rookie Of The Year and have a CJ Stroud Caliber Rookie Season regardless if it is Daniels, Maye or McCarthy
this is no surprise though, posted something similar in one of these threads about a Month ago, give me JJ>Maye any day! Kid is a Winner, also Selfless he put winning before Personal Stats and worrying about putting up bigger numbers to win a Heisman or to boost his Draft Stock Harbaugh never needed the kid to try and carry the team by himself and instead of Individual Awards he helped his team win the most meaningful Awards in the end
I prefer Daniels but I would not be upset with JJ or Maye with the Giants as long as they still get that #1 Receiver maybe by Trade

From what I heard most teams had Josh Rosen in front of Josh Allen too. Guys like Herbert and Allen were labeled erratic before the draft too like Maye...both players were popular predictions to be busts. Even Mahomes was a popular prediction to bust.
Rosen - NFL ready they said.
Maybe McCarthy will do great in the NFL, but would have preferred to see him compete on a team where he wasn't able to compile wins by handing the ball off 40 times a game. Seems like that makes it only harder to get an accurate evaluation.

^^^ Rosen the Chosen had me bamboozled.... When his Coach threw him under the bus and said he questions everything.......it kinda sank him.
Then to have the cardinal draft QB's in round 1 back to back years....and both years they take an immature QB......
funny stuff

I never wanted anything to do with him and said so multiple times on whatever message boards we had back then.

If so, this is straight up hot take city right here

Williams, Maye, Daniels, McCarthy, Nabers, Odunze, hell im fine with ANY of these guys. As long as they go QB or WR in the 1st (or even trade down) ill be a happy camper

McCarthy also had the benefit of a stacked offense. So it’s not so cut and dry. Nobody knows who will be the better qb or best qb in this draft. That’s the gamble.

What do you guys think? Will McCarthy end up being taken before Maye? What I know is that statistically at least one of them will never be a franchise QB. Where they are taken is immaterial.
