DJ has been a complete disaster for this team since he was overdrafted Heard the guy they brought in to replace Mayfield has a 75 million dollar guaranteed cap hit the next two years. Could be worse.

Jones sucking does not make DeVito good. He sucks too This. But if we continue to look like we just did on offense and we're 0-4... gotta start thinking about that injury clause. I'm thinking about it now. If Daniel Jones isn't the long term solution at QB and the Giants aren't convinced of that right now (which they are not), I see no reason to run the risk rolling him out there. If he gets seriously injured that is a disaster for the Giants. And he has missed enough time for that to be a real possibility. Bench him and move on.

He is the worst starting QB in the NFL……cut him.
Serious discussion about Daniel Jones complete.

He sucks Tommy DeVito needs to start Prove me wrong. . You can’t tank on purpose, and the probability of moving up for a QB is becoming unrealistic. So you start DJ still because you can say you’re sticking with him, but it probably gets you the minimal amount of wins between now and week 9-10 when you put him on ice. The days of picking 6th and moving up to #2 are over.

Marshall Green sums it up perfectly: "He is the worst QB in NFL history to sign a multi-year extension with the team that drafted him" Let that statement sink in....because I hate to say it but its probably true. I can't think of anyone else worse.

Honestly guys, I just think he needs another weapon or 2, And another couple of years to knock off the rust. He will eventually get it.

For those asking when the excuses stop. This answer is clearly 2024. Usually you can find a couple articles/fans offering something up. It’s crickets this morning. Literally. No one is coming to save him.

Jones had a pocket he a decent QB could have worked with he has gifted WRs his grace period is over.

The saddest part about how bad this is, is the fact Brian Daboll will get fired after this season, or mid way through it. And then we have another huge reset happen, and waste Thomas and Dex best years, 2 of the best players this team has had at those positions.
Hell, Schoen could get fired after this season. Its that bad. Daniel Jones was a final Dave Gentlemen time bomb. Still destroying our franchise despite him not being here.

Marshall Green sums it up perfectly: He summed it up pretty nicely. Until you replace #8, nothing else matters. This team is going nowhere with DJ. This is exactly why I harp so much about him.

I'm serious Daniel Jones is the worst QB in the NFL. Backups are better. Watson is also trying for this title.

Not really though, he was a rookie of the year candidate, led Cleveland to the playoffs. His down years were in Carolina and as a mid season addition to the Rams (and he still won them a game or two). He's always been solid to good. Right now he is very good.

Dex and Thomas will like end up like Harry Carson and George Martin yet doubt the Giants win with either. The Giants f’ed up the reset button with the Barkley pick and have NEVER recovered. That Barkley pick was all about precious Eli and the outcry from Carl Banks, Sean O’Hara, the idiots who blamed the world on Mac and John Mara who brought in Gettleman.

Of course Odell and his dad drama with Baker too. Seemed like he didn't think Baker was good yet Odell's career just keeps on getting worse and worse each time he leaves for what he thinks are greener pastures.

Heard the guy they brought in to replace Mayfield has a 75 million dollar guaranteed cap hit the next two years. Could be worse. You need to retire buddy. Just hang em up. It's over. At least the NYG can move on with little penalty which looks like what they will end doing. Deshaun's contract carries a 75 million dollar cap through 2026. Makes me feel better that Joe didn't sign a contract that bad. 1 year deal would have been better but DJ's agent probably had him pay a premium due to the playoff win.

Can you stop defending Jones by highlighting a worse situation. It's embarrassing.

If I was Dabs, Im starting Lock/DeVito the rest of the way. DJ should have ZERO opportunity to get hurt on the field and lock up 2025 as a Giant. There is no chance that he should be the starting QB week 1 next year.

Actually he was good early with the Browns he started to struggle the last couple years thats why they moved on he never lived up to that draft slot that said he found his way. Also remember when he was in Cleveland that offense was stacked they were a top 5 OL top 5 run game and had Landry and OBJ he has had more than most when it comes talent around him yet they let him walk.

We're agreeing haha. He was good early in cleveland, they shouldn't have let him walk after one downish year after the playoff season. The Watson decision is attrocious. I think Baker's proved he's a player in TB.
