"Every day in practice Webb tells star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. the same thing: 'You ain’t outrunning my arm.' When Manning points out that Webb overlooked an easy five-yard completion in favor of attempting a 70-yard bomb on a rep, Webb responds that he’s 'gotta get the arm on tape.'” How he should respond..."You're right, Eli. I'll work on that." You're reading too much into this. It's guys on the field having a little fun. Nothing wrong with his response. Nothing to see here at all.

Its an absolutely ideal situation for the Giants, Webb, and the true fans. Manning will get to close out his career with a bolstered O line and a host of weapons. I'm sure many remember how he loved dumping to Tiki--his dumps to Barkley will cause open field chaos due to the other weapons on the field. Its going to be all on Eli to show what he has left, and it doesn't hurt that he and Webb have a great relationship. Competition at all positions breeds excellence.

I have no problem with Webb’s comments. Nothing wrong with confidence. And it Iwould be great if we have Eli’s successor already. It’s all good if you ask me. All good.

He threw a bunch of TDs at Cal... with a poor OL... been a model citizen and he speaks to the press very composed I for one root for him. We just need to see it translates to the field of play... if so... then we may have an heir apparent to Eli.
