I’m surprised he hasn’t signed with a team yet. Still has gas left in the tank, I would welcome him back with open arms. He has had plenty of offers to be sure. He is likely just avoiding as much camp as possible. Smart move by the vet. I think he will be a Redskin though. |

Opposing offenses will target whoever they perceive to be the weakest link in the secondary. If DRC is that guy, then we don't need him. If he hasn't slowed down, his skill set would be worth picking him up for the right price.

Would he really give 100% if he came back? I would ask that of any player in the same circumstance. These guys have a lot of pride (most of them at least..  ). I would think that he would play with a huge chip on his shoulder. |

Since DG saw a lot of tape he probably noticed the excellent straight line speed and that’s about it. Dude was getting wrecked in coverage on those intermediate routes all year. He is done and that’s why DG filled the roster with lots of DB. Cockrell was a pleasant surprise because he didn’t cost much but it’s not like he was that great too.
DG’s philosophy looks to be way different than Reese’s. I don’t know how they were able to work together. Reese puts a lot of emphasis on CB And will spend there. DG not so much.

could it be that DRC is just waiting until the end of summer camp to sign back with us, especially since older veterans do not like summer camp....

In their minds probably... no excuses but Perkins I felt had potential he was an anchor for UCLA and it seemed ever since he missed the first training camp he was playing catch up. I believe he is a good dude hope he can land somewhere. For DRC, I do not think the Giants him back... |
