So typical man! Offense scores, defense immediately gives up points. So sick of this.

How about Jamon Brown with keeping Eli clean on that throw! I saw that. Nice...….and unexpected with this team.

Oh stop that’s just ridiculous. Nothing ridiculous about it, he was simply making a correct observation. You can watch the reply yourself What do you watch replays to see his body language? I mean the guy hangs in there throws a td and you bring up that sh*t. Smh

If he can only play well when there is a perfect pocket is he really worth it though? The best of a player comes out when things break down. That's when you see how good players are. Most QBs can throw to an open target with a nice big pocket. That was a perfect pocket? He just needs time that all the qbs get. You’re dealing with a bunch of asshats on here. Even when he makes a good play they want to complain.

Ok, for those of you who are recording and can go slow mo, are we tanking this on purpose? Watch Vernon just stand there and watch Breda score...he did nothing to try to stop him. Also, 35 had a clean shot at him 4 yards out and whiffed!?!?

That was a perfect pocket? He just needs time that all the qbs get. Perfect enough yes. He had like 4 or 5 seconds. No one was near him Even with 4-5 seconds Manning throws scared. This simply is a lack of competitive spirit by a QB who is more or less just going through the motions

The Giant defense is very good at giving up points immediately after the offense scores. Fixed

Surprise, Eli has a pocket to step into and he delivers. What an odd concept. If he can only play well when there is a perfect pocket is he really worth it though? The best of a player comes out when things break down. That's when you see how good players are. Most QBs can throw to an open target with a nice big pocket. To me, that was a typical NFL pocket. Far from perfect, but absolutely something a NFL QB should be able to work with. I completely understand what you're saying, though. Going off of what you're saying, Eli has always needed a "perfect" pocket, or at least one that's considered something a NFL QB should be able to work with. He hasn't changed in that regard. What's changed is he's been taking a beating the last 5+ years and is getting the ball out before he gets hit, or feels he's going to get hit. I've never been a huge fan of his, and I'm not a hater, but I think Eli can still get it done if given proper time. Until that's proven wrong and we actually give Eli time, which hasn't been the case since our last Super Bowl run, nothing will change my mind.
