I guess the refs want to go home because they are late for dinner and their wives will yell at them.

**** yeah! I will take that W! We have so little to cheer for. You're damn skippy you'll take that W!! The rest of the day and week are so much better after a win. We complain, stress, and even insult each other throughout the game, but mainly come together happy after we win.

Face it boys and girls the football godz hate us...even when we win it comes with a price...nerve wracking all the way to the end... Typical Sunday as a giants fan. We have to have the shortest lifespan of any other fanbase.

Well, that was way more nerve racking than it needed to be. isn't it always with this team? Even when Coughlin was here.

Atrocious lack of a killer instinct on this team. Pathetic that a 10pt with under 90 secs left was not enough & they had to go to OT to pull out a win vs yet another backup QB. Had Trubinsky started, they wipe the floor with us. Even sadder is that a few of you are acting all happy about this game & team. Only cellar dweller teams blow 10pt leads with 90 secs left to a team playing their backup QB & then have to go to OT at home to pull it out.
In the past 18yrs during the B&B era, I have never seen that team blow a 10pt lead with under 2 min left in the game in their house. That's the difference between a consistent winner & consistent a loser.

Hahaha...no the fact that the Bears recovered the onside kick, The Bears fumbled 3 times on their last drive but we couldn't recover one and for losing 3 years from my life after watching every nerve wracking snap till the end...

Strange game, as much as the Giants wanted to gift wrap the game for Chicago, they just didn't want it! Embarrassed emoji

This feels both good and bad because it shouldn't have been so close. But that is the natural progression of most BAD teams: they go from 6. losing in blowouts, to 5. losing often but competitively, to 4. usually losing the close ones, sometimes in the last seconds, to 3. usually winning the close ones, sometimes in the last seconds, to 2. winning most of the time, to 1. winning and dominating regularly.
I like to think we are @4 but maybe not? .. and sometimes teams jump a level, but probably not the Giants.

Never saw a team try so dam hard not to tho' ..

Just imagine;
If Schurmur was a manager during the George Steinbrenner years do ya think he would last more than a year despite doing well - at times?

Look, I will say this....there is a difference between this team and last year's team. This team is competitive and gives effort in every game. With the limited talent it has on defense and the OL, it is in every game and 4-8 could very easily be 7-5.
I don't know if I will go so far as to say it's well coached...but maybe it is. This team has been in just about every game....that counts for something.

Just be happy we played well enough to win, against a good defense and a second string QB with no star receiver

Wish we weren't stuck with Eli. Man he is awful sometimes. Just stop, Eli didn't play defense. He didn't blow the 10 point lead and he sure as hell didn't screw up the onsides kick like our super star wide receiver. Odel needs to stay away from special teams he sucks at them.He almost blew it today and he definitely blew it in Carolina. Eli routinely leaves so many points on the field every week. Why is that so hard to see? No, he doesnt play for the defense who blows late leads at times, but he does not take advantage of any opportunities anymore. The guy is cooked. If we want to win more than 5-6 games next year we better be playing a new QB. One who can see the field. One who can move a few yards to avoid the rush. One who defenses actually dont enjoy playing against.
