Because why not. If you're interested, you may have heard rumors about the Rangers interest in Karlsson, but now they are reporting the Rangers may help facilitate his delivery to Tampa. And doing so may bring Ryan Callahan back to the Rangers. I'm not sure if that's exciting, but it's cool if I can unretire Cally 2011 Winter Classic jersey.

NY Rangers should've never traded Ryan Callahan.

Tough loss. I have a feeling we’ll be saying that a lot. Refs no call on the high stick definitely sucked.

Didn't see the game because I was on 24 hour duty, but my friend said he thought they played tough against a much better team, Hank played well and some of the young guys looked solid(particularly Vesey). He said on the downside, the top 2 lines(he said especially Kreider) were invisible. I might try to rewatch some of it when I get home tonight.

I’ll be patient and give them a few years to get back to being a contender as young guys and recent picks get more involved.

NY Rangers are obviously in rebuild mode but looked way better than I thought they would. I like the toughness on the team, particularly when Patrick Subban wanted to go at first but then thought better of it.

I agree...but thought the team played pretty well against a very good team...of course Henrik had to make some spectacular saves but I liked what I've seen out of some of the rooks...especially Howden

How do they not score with 3 on 0?...same old Rangers ...shifty D and can't score.....sigh This offense reminds me of another NY TEAM. Rangers sadly lacked finishers for the longest time. Oh well, having the bar set super low makes this easier to swallow. I’m not sure Hank can handle a whole season of losing. I wonder if he will change his tune about being traded if this season is a disaster. Reminds me of Eli with the Giants except Hank is still at top 6 athlete at his position.

Probably not a playoff team, but putting it together and playing a solid style. Plenty of solid young talent. Knicks kinda doing the same. Good times.

Unlike Shurmur, you have to love what Quinn has done so far with this squad. They are playing hard and he holds all accountable.

Agreed, prone to sloppy D but that's a talent issue as much as anything. I also liked Quinn talking.about "cheating the game after the blown game in Detroit on Friday night.

Rangers are showing good grit, but they're not ready for prime time. Stay the course, they have pieces on the roster of great value at the trade deadline and a ton of quality youth to build upon. Hayes most of all on the trade front, love him, but he's getting a kings ransome as a FA after this season.

How many games have the Rangers blown in the 3rd period this year(not even mentioning how many in the last 3 minutes)? They could easily be contending for a seed if they had any semblance of an idea how to close games. Having happen against the damn Kings last night is only extra salt in the wound.

Ugh, rough season. Trade deadline should be interesting. I bet Gorton makes some great deals. Nice comeback tonight. They could get quite the haul for Zucc and Hayes and have plenty of space to re-sign both and Panarin. That's the dream. Zbanejad has been playing out of his mind. Hard to believe we pretty much got him straight up for Brassard.

I trust gorton so i think we’ll be happy after the trade deadline with more pieces/picks for the future. That’s really what it’s about 2-3 years from now (hopefully)
