Pat Shurmur will probably be fired. I doubt Dave will be fired though.

nah not really. They were supposed to win the their division this season. They are up shits creek too. No doubt a new HC next season etc etc etc. I never saw them winning the division. They still could make the playoffs though I think. they were the "sexy" pick in pre season with many talking heads

I've not been impressed by Shurmur going back to last year. While DG has had decent drafts, you can argue about how he has managed the first round quite easily for both pro and against. I'm rapidly thinking that we should clea house again, from the top, not just Shurmur. I thought the same thing when they let TC go. The L Williams trade was the icing on the cake for me. I'll understand if DG gets at least one more year though. I'll be very unhappy if Shurmur is our head coach next year.

The Giants biggest problem is coaching.
Not "GMing"

The Giants biggest problem is coaching. Not "GMing" I disagree. Ownership (specifically the Maras) is the biggest problem with the Giants.

For me it all starts with ownership and trickles down from there. Shurmur is the fall guy. Mara and Gettleman are in hiding and the only time Tisch is seen is when the Paparazzi spots him in Hollywood or when he's talking about Colin Kaepernick deserving another chance. If Shurmur is gone it would be our 4th coach in 5 years and not much has changed. That tells me the problem is management. Mara and Tisch are both over retirement age now. Who is the heir? John Mara Jr. does not look like a football guy at all. Maybe it's time to sell the franchise? I'd like to see a successful business executive own the team and a modern GM. I hope Mara gives Bezos a call soon.

He would use analytics. The following article discussed the topic: "More importantly, the franchise would have complete access to Amazon’s Next Gen Stats analytics programs, which utilize AWS machine learning and artificial intelligence to take a deep dive into the statistical analysis of players, by utilizing RFID tags in the equipment of players on the field to track thousands of data points from each player, including speed, movement patterns, and a plethora of other advanced statistics that couldn’t otherwise be measured." gmenhq.com/2019/11/23/new-york-giants-football-new-owner/ - "New York Giants Football: A new owner? I feel that ownership and management is a problem from what I've seen from them. Gettleman sounds like a GM stuck in the 1990s and nothing Mara or Tisch say inspires confidence. They rarely have anything interesting to say. Bezos is charismatic, interesting, genius.

This is going to be a tough one for the Gentleshurms to survive.
Mara probably threw 3 chairs tonight after that.

Add to the list:
Not trading Jenkins at the deadline, when it was clear as day the right move to make, and now cutting him.
Gentleclown is making it very very hard to rebuild...

Can someone tell me how our picks always leak out the night before the draft? I really thought it was a smokescreen about Jones. we have a leak , someone is tipping off the beat writers . that kind of information would be sold and not leaked

I would imagine that Tisch might be telling Mara to step aside and "let me have a shot at making the decisions because the ones you're making suck"

Do you think Cleveland would even get a 1st rounder for him now? He always injured and a headcase. As bad as the Giants are, they made out in that trade...

Well I'm entertained The article seems very logical, but the Giants are NOT taking any of these QBs at No. 6 or moving up to get one. To think the Cards would trade a QB they drafted last year with the 10th pick is delusional. Are we even a better team than we were last year? It seems to me that David Gettleman was to busy being petty and making sure all the players on this team were "his guys" instead of actually trying to upgrade this team and fill the holes this team had. Well, that would make you wrong. He has vastly improved the team at a much lower cost going into the future.

It is true and will be more than apparent in the coming seasons.
