Can we get Degrom and Thor to start every game? Matz is occasionally good too, but very Jekyll and Hyde.

Nice comeback tonight, series already won. That feels pretty good, a sweep would be even better.

Wow.. A sweep of the D'Backs! So how often are you going to be coming here condescending to Mets fans? You cant post enough on the Yanks threads?

90% of Yanks fans do condescend, by nature, to Mets fans. TBPH, my decision as a little boy to make the Mets my only sports team choice that went against my father does seem a rather large mistake. At the same time I prefer to be a Mets fan, we're true fans with less fake followers and a much more loyal lot. The 7-line certainly proves that much.

with .500 creeping up on them, our Mets pull off 4 in a row... without Cespedes. Yo-yo';s. Buckle up... more to come.

Mets agree to a deal with Jose Bautista. The Mets are taking a shot on Jose Bautista, after the Braves gave up on him two days ago. The Mets agreed to a deal with Bautista on Tuesday, The Post’s Mike Puma reported, as an option for a right-handed bat in the outfield, depleted recently by the losses of Juan Lagares and Yoenis Cespedes. Since Lagares went down Friday with a toe injury — one that requires surgery and likely will keep him out for the rest of the season — the Mets have relied on an all-lefty outfield of Brandon Nimmo, Michael Conforto and Jay Bruce. Sure you could be upset with Familia for blowing the game, but really the Mets putting up a whopping 4 runs in 3 games against the juggernaut Marlins pitching staff is more frustrating. Familia is nothing more than Benitez these days. He was great in 2015. The real shame is the Mets ownership refusing to legitmately finance this team. Guys like Hosmer were there for the taking. Nope, lets take Jay Bruce back and then pick up some has beens like Bautista along the way. At least I knew the good feelings generated this weekend were mostly the "fake news" variety. Ugggghhhh.

They lost 2/3 to lowly Miami after 4 wins in a row. Now blew another one tonight after coming back to tie game in 9th Ramos gives up a Walkoff Walk in the 10th to Brewers
This team is destined for .500 or worse just like every other year. And we had such high hopes to start the season

Oh and the Giant' lost today 17-6. I mean the Mets lost 17-6.. Vargas roughed up for 5 runs after being stopped a 3-0 lead but BP gave 12 Runs to the Brewers. Nice!!

Mets up 6-4 in the 7th, and my heart is anticipating Familia. Ugh. Let me ask a question... When he blew that last relief stint, giving up 4 hits and a walk... After the game Bobby Ojeda said he could see right away that Familia's sinker wasn't sinking. We all know what that means.,.. Batting Practice. To me, the cartcher has got to give the high sign to the coach after two batters... hey, coach, Familia's got nothing tonight. I can't remember if Mesoraco was in, or not, but any one of them should be able to tell when a sinker is flat.
