why did they get rid of McDaniel, mark Jackson and Gerald Wilkins ? The replaced them with Doc Rivers, Charles Smith, and Rolando Blackman. Granted they won more games in 92-93 than 91-92 but I think they would have beat Chicago if they kept those three.

I have no idea; I never liked that trade.
I liked Wilkins and I loved Jackson. Stupid Knicks.

They are the Knicks.
KD-Kyrie-Zion
As great as that sounds for 2019-20, you really think it happens?

He won Lebrons championship for him in Cleveland. I love Kyries talent. You take that if you suffered as a Knicks fan the past 20 years. Probably a bit egotistical though.

Probably a bit egotistical though. You make a good point in that we should take his talent because of how bad and desperate this organization is for some players. He did not win Lebron’s championship for him in Cleveland. He was the second banana and they were a lottery team with just him before Lebron came back. What happened to Durant ? Did he get hurt last night ?

Mark Jackson should have never left although Derek Harper was an excellent addition mid season in 93-94.

My favorite Knicks team was the 88-89 team dubbed the Bomb squad with Rick Pitino. They of course were beaten by the Bulls in the Eastern conference semis. I always thought Johnny Newman was an underrated talent.

Charles Smith was one of the softest big men I have ever seen. He totally did not fit in with the Knicks of that era.

I'm 5'11 and I go up stronger than he did in that 4 or 5 attempt put back attempt. Although I seem to recall he got hacked, it was embarrassing. In that situation you have to expect to be hacked, you need to get your money's worth by making the defender pay.

The worst, Charles Smith made me destroy my fathers universal stereo system remote at the ripe young age of 17, a 140 dollar item at that time. Slammed it into the floor and it became about 100 pieces of remote. I strung together a string of obscenities that would have made the dad from Christmas Story extremely proud. He was supposed to be the missing piece when we obtained him, instead he was a giant pu**y. Oh, and in case you're not aware it takes a great many hours working in the service kitchen of a Ponderosa Steakhouse to replace a $140 remote.
