Would u like a link to the " solder sucks" thread? solder has been an above average to average his whole career so what that is is more BS don't need to see it he finished last year in the top half of tackles. Now Flowers he sucks and has proven it over and over now that he is a Forskin hope he keeps proving it.

Nope I rooted for him hard to get better. Think he has some limitations with his hips he doesn't bend maybe he just can't, he will bounce around as a backup maybe some day he will learn how to play around what ever limits him, could happen anytime if they don't get tired of working with him. I did also .I actually feel bad for him. I think he was placed by circumstance into the LT position that he as not ready for. He became a cluster F of bad habits to compassionate for his lack of knowledge that the position demanded. Really with his limitations and fundamental flaws the best thing for him would have been to be developed slowly like a lower round guy, he was way over drafted that is not his fault.

If he came out and played good I still don't blame the Giants, they fired coaches for him brought Solari who is supposed to be a good teacher and he didn't respond. If he finds it ,it will be because he decided he wanted to and put in a ton of work in the offseason it's the only way.

This is the way I see it . There are jobs that are not hit the ground running positions. In Football it is the QB and LT . Although there are exceptions to the rule. They are positions that need a some frame work to build on . Flowers never had a chance to have that solid foundation to build on top of. He was thrown into a situation that he could fail at very easily. I do not blame him for his bad habits . I blame Reese and TC for not having the Depth on the roster to allow for a contingency if the LT was injured. IMO: The "Next man up" statement is an attempt to spin away from inept roster building and make it appear that they were prepared.

The worst part of that regime was to let that OL linger like an infection they had 0 energy 0 pump to be physical and they kept bringing them back trying again. As for Flowers I still stand by that he was a project at best and some scouts said so he needed time unfortunately when you are a top ten pick you don't get that luxury. That was beyond his control his draft slot, what was in his power is what he diid in his offseason maybe the Bently camp or work with Duke Mannyweather would have helped.

Flowers is hard to watch. I was hoping the team plane would leave Atlanta without him.

Not bad at run blocking, but a turnstile in pass pro. You know what I'm talking about.

Not bad at run blocking, but a turnstile in pass pro. You know what I'm talking about. Is he still trying to start the motorcycle every time he has to pass protect. My God, that kick step would drive me crazy. I can't count the number of times I gave him the finger through the TV for that.

Seen on the Twitter:
"Flowers either makes a spectacular block, commits a penalty or completely whiffs. There’s literally no in between."
This is true.

Why another guard when Flowers is playing LT? Flowers is at left guard and not doing bad in the run game but his pass blocking sucks and has at least three penalties a game so far. I thought he was still at LT? I'm beginning to think his best position is left out

Not bad at run blocking, but a turnstile in pass pro. You know what I'm talking about. You'll enjoy the 15 yard tripping penalties when they inevitably get around him too. Good times...

Flowers has actually played pretty well at LG to the surprise of...everyone. Dude is terrible in pass protection. If I was D coordinator, I would have multiple plays designed on exploiting that turn-style.

Flowers looks like 330lbs of chewed bubble gum & I seriously question his intellect. OLmen are supposed to be way more cerebral than DLmen but Flowers is the exception to the rule. Pygmies had the audacity to assign him the responsibility to protect the blindside of one of the most un-athletic, immobile QBs in NFL history & I think getting blasted from his blindside so much actually ruined Eli's internal clock to the point where he was hearing footsteps coming from his blindside even when they weren't. Flowers is a human turnstile & will go down in NFL history as one of the worst #1 picks at his position.

Hey I was the first to laugh at him, but the transition from T to LG has paid off. He is flat-out pancaking opponents at LG.
And he's not making stupid mistakes, unlike the rest of the team.
