I have watched. is he unlockable, or is he unlockable because the guys around him are above the talent level of the O-lines they play against? I have seen Young get to the QB despite being double or triple teamed. He has quickness, the bull rush, and is great against the run. There's a reason he is the #1 player on everyone's big board. Yes he does have other NFL talent around him. That didn't stop teams from drafting out of Clemson's dline in the first round, which featured both Ferrell and Lawrence. All fine and dandy. So is Weaver getting double and tippled teamed caliber of talent without that Young has around hi, Some on the site dismiss it because of the it must be OSU LSU Clemson Georgia........... or the player is a thumb their nose at? I am Glad the FO did not have that attitude with Phil, Strahan and JPP

Are you saying Barkley had the talent around him Young has? Nope. I'm saying the people saying Barkley was touched by the hand of God and all universe could say the same for Young on the other side of the ball. Who said that?

Your take on Young is just unique. I haven't read or heard an opinion on him similar to yours.

Your take on Young is just unique. I haven't read or heard an opinion on him similar to yours. After I did the research on the correlation of the failure rate and where 70% of the 1st round pick are produced from , Yeah it raises a flag . It is a coin flip with these top programs/ Not what you would expect. Here is the post I made If you look at this list. It shows a pattern of drafting that all NFL FOs use as a means to build a team. herosports.com/nfl-draft/schools-colleges-most-first-round-draft-picks-nfl-draft-history-bybyThis list it is telling out of a possible 1674 first round draft picks from a total of 154 schools The top 10 schools drafted from represent 35% of the first round ever drafted The top 20 schools drafted from represent 58% of the first round ever drafted. The top 30 schools drafted from represent 70% of the first round ever drafted. The bottom 124 Schools represent 30% of the draft. There is a 53% first round success rate using the top 30 NCAA programs. Just is just my observation and purely speculation. The NFL drafts the best players for specific schools . Not necessarily the best player available. I took a random school off this list as a sample (Southern Mississippi.) 4-1st round picks in the schools history. Tony Smith pick 19 1992 draft 3 seasons. Louis Lipps pick 23 1984 draft: ROY, 2 time pro -bowl, 9 NFL seasons Hanford Dixon pick 22 1981 draft: 2 time All Pro, 3 time pro-bowl, 9 NFL seasons Ray Guy pick 23 1973 draft: 6 time All Pro , 7 time pro- bowl, HOF class of 2014, 14 NFL seasons. This 1 random school I picked out of the bottom of this list 75% success rate in the first round 22% Above the NFL average So I question. Is the talent evaluation process flawed? Is the players talent over inflated because of that talent of the team around him is superior to the talent of the opponents he plays in the NCAA? When that player is drafted into the NFL. Now he is in a situation where all 22 on the field are the best of the best. So now the playing field is equalized and the true nature of the player's talent or lack of is exposed. Read more: thegiantsboard.proboards.com/thread/5034/la-raiders-rebuild-giants-2019#ixzz66DHTQqJEHere is Boise State (72 on the list) Leighton Vander Esch *( pick 19)Good Player Shea McClellin (pick 19) fair Doug Martin ( pick31) 2 X pro-Bowl All Pro Kyle Wilson ( pick 29)6 year career ( above average length) Ryan Clady ( pick 12) 4X pro bowl 2X All pro 4 out of 5 80% success rate. Well above the NFL average success rate.

Nope. I'm saying the people saying Barkley was touched by the hand of God and all universe could say the same for Young on the other side of the ball. Who said that? Our GM... And many many of the Giants fans. And Im not saying the Boise St guy you compared Young to is not good, I havent even seen him. But I have seen Young, and he isnt just the product of the players around him. He makes everyone around him better because they double team Young and he still gets by.

TEM with that said, I will look into Weaver. But I can almost guarantee you I wont be as impressed as I am with Young, unless he is dominating vs games of high level competition too, like Wisconsin and Penn St

You are suggesting it. You must have got the narrative somewhere? Or is it you are overly embellishing a player to bolster your point.

Syracuse closes their season in the dome vs Wake Forest.
No way they win.
DeVito was injured (benched) not playing.

Wake Forest lost their last 3 games to fall out of the top 25. Trill Williams with the OT strip fumble for a TD. Similar to when Adams took it from Danny Jones. Babers still sucks though. They need to get a transfer QB in 2020. A good dual threat.

It was actually cool that Rutgers was relevant for a few years nationally(I remember they had recruiting billboards on I 4 in Fla) Its great actually for college football to have a good program in the NY trip state area

Great game between Oklahoma and Baylor.
If Georgia loses to LSU, Oklahoma is in the playoff.

I love LSUs RB Edwards-Helaire. Small compact speedster. Runs hard and great hands.
Been watching him all year. He is a clone of Darren Sproles.
Watch him #22. If he is there in the 3rd round I'd love to get him.

My niece just graduated from Wisconsin, so they have my vote as well. I typically root against the factory schools, and have not been a fan of OSU.

I really like Isaiah Simmons from Clemson. Smaller LB who can fly all over the field. Always near the ball. Converted safety.
