Sadly, when you're the Giants & a Giants fan, this is already a "must win" game. This team isn't good enough to bounce back from a bad Sept start. Get sick n tired of players brushing off early Sept losses with the ol, "it's still early in the season, we got lot's of football left to play", response. This isn't baseball, were you can start off 2-12 & still make the playoffs. 0-2, 0-3, 0-4 & you can just put in DJ to start off the new era of QB in NY.
Since 2013, every damn time the Giants have started 0-2, they have had a losing season & missed the playoffs, the yr they started 2-0, surprise, surprise, they made the playoffs. This coaching staff better not go into this game with some BS conservative game plan. They need to attack all game long & take some chances on 4th dn deep in Cowboy turf. Settling for 3s every time we're in the RZ will end up in us losing this game. Have to put up 7s! If we go for it on 4th dn on their 10yd line & don't make it, fine, make em go 90yds the other way! Winning this game on the rd vs a team that has owned them the last few yrs would be a huge confidence booster & have this team sky high for the home opener vs a Bills team they should beat. TB & Skins are winnable as well, a 4-0 start would be amazing as they then just have to play 500 football the rest of the way & still finish 10-6 with a great shot at making the playoffs.
I'm hoping that the Getty/Shurm rebuild is creating a level-headed team with resiliency.
