I know, if a defender isnt picked in the 1st 2 rounds half of this message board will lose their shit.... ESPECIALLY if we go OT, OT, and C as our 1st 3 picks. I would LOVE to get Thomas or Wills as our day 1 starter, and Wilson as a developmental project who could be AMAZING at RT, he's like Becton with more value Barkley would have an HOV lane to jog through DJ would also have time to read a book and take a quick nap in the pocket For some reason ALOT of people on the boards dont understand or appreciate the value of a good OL

Barkley would have an HOV lane to jog through DJ would also have time to read a book and take a quick nap in the pocket For some reason ALOT of people on the boards dont understand or appreciate the value of a good OL Easiest way to improve the defense to even respectable enough to be competitive A top o line that causes the overall offense to hold the ball and dictate terms of how a particular game will be played.... We build the trenches (even just lets say Wills and Hennessy)..add a weapon day 3 (Watkins)..... This team can be a 27 points, 415 yards holding the ball 34 minutes a game offense that is now dictating that they will score at least 5 times a.game and hold it long enough to where you have to keep up and with fewer possessions..can you keep up?

Last one for me This is what I would Do
Get the Chargers 2nd and 3rd..
6: R1P6 OT JEDRICK WILLS ALABAMA
BPA..imatant major upgrade day onw starter at RT and could be a great one
36: R2P4 C MATT HENNESSY TEMPLE
Fluctuated ..probably the best fit for a day one starting C
37: R2P5 EDGE JOSH UCHE MICHIGAN
Slight reach here as I hated the pool of players I was in here Went with an edge rusher that can actually play OLB...
71: R3P7 LB LOGAN WILSON WYOMING
Now an inside guy who probably is a major contributer this year as a rookie..
99: R3P35 CB AMIK ROBERTSON LOUISIANA TECH
Value sucked here for a lot of players...strategic reach for the new starting slot corner
110: R4P4 WR VAN JEFFERSON FLORIDA
Smooth and incredible route runner with great speed.. Has highly productive starter potential
150: R5P4 G JON RUNYAN MICHIGAN
Future starter at RG
183: R6P4 WR QUEZ WATKINS SOUTHERN MISSISSIPPI
Slayton 2.0 more speed outside
218: R7P4 S JAVELIN GUIDRY UTAH
Raw safety prospect that played corner at Utah...hard worker and 4.29 speed
238: R7P24 RB DARIUS ANDERSON TCU
Bradshaw 2.0
247: R7P33 WR DARNELL MOONEY TULANE
He pushes tate out of a job sooner than later Victor Cruz like with better speed
255: R7P41 WR ISAIAH WRIGHT TEMPLE
Another dynamic do it all playmakwr witb sub 4.4. Speed

Likely my last mock so I decided to have some fun with it. I personally think they’re going OT and honestly prefer they do that but I would be very happy to get someone like Simmons. He’s a freak and they must have a plan in place for him if they pull the trigger.
4: R1P4 LB ISAIAH SIMMONS CLEMSON- freak LB who can play S at times and rush the passer too. TEs would no longer roam free and he would be a great help with guys running free over the middle. Potential super star but could be a boom or bust pick
36: R2P4 OT MATT PEART CONNECTICUT- I really like Peart. This might be a bit of a stretch to take him here, but he’s a very athletic OT who graded out well, he has freakishly long arms, and I think the sky is the limit. Improved OL coaching makes me much more comfortable taking OL who aren’t necessarily complete players yet
99: R3P35 C TYLER BIADASZ WISCONSIN- could be an absolute steal. Injuries are likely going to make him slide. He is a really good center when he is out there and healthy
110: R4P4 EDGE ANFERNEE JENNINGS ALABAMA- could be extremely good value at the 4th. I like Jennings a lot especially at a spot like this. Wouldn’t be surprised if the Judge/Bama connection results in a couple members of the rolling tide being NYGs
150: R5P4 WR JAMES PROCHE SMU- he’s very similar to a Cruz type of player. Unbelievable hands, quick, shifty, and incredibly fun to watch. I am a huge fan of Proche.
183: R6P4 G CAMERON CLARK CHARLOTTE- underrated guard depth. Let them develop him and see what happens.
218: R7P4 DL MCTELVIN AGIM ARKANSAS- high ceiling player. Really explosive big man who can rush the passer and make plays against the run in the backfield. Needs to play stronger at times though. NFL weight room and coaching should help that.
238: R7P24 S SHYHEIM CARTER ALABAMA- another Bama connection. Safety depth at the very least
247: R7P33 RB DARIUS ANDERSON TCU- another RB to throw into the mix. I like his game a lot
255: R7P41 EDGE TREVIS GIPSON TULSA- another edge rusher with all the tools. He is underrated and could be a day 3 steal for someone

Tons of OL help here with Wirfs and Ruiz being day one starters and Peart should be able to become a very solid starter in time. FS addressed with a very talented player. We get some talented edge guys in Uche and Robinson. 2 burners at WR in Watkins and Mooney. Both 4.3 guys with STs ability. I wanted to go LB earlier but the value wasn’t great at each spot but I was able to get a good value in Logan Wilson and the Davion Taylor is an extremely athletic LB both would be nice additions there. Albert O would be a great get at TE as well. Evans, Green, and Davis are all depth guys that I like a lot for their projected spots. emoji

Well...hehe Jacksonville offered me their 2nd and next year's 1st to get the 2nd best edge guy (Rousseau was off the board)..
Dunno much about these guys other than the stars and tbe guys that we were mocking that went back to school....
So...
19: R1P19 WR JAYLEN WADDLE ALABAMA
Yeah I'm going to fix what wasn't done here...might end up being the best of this class....the Judge connection
33: R2P1 C CREED HUMPHREY OKLAHOMA
Heh...we drafted Lemeux to be our C possibly..... Then this guy falls to my lap... Thomas,Hernandez,Humphrey,Lemeux,Peart.. This line is set
38: R2P6 LB DYLAN MOSES ALABAMA
Joe judge influence....he gets the medical and this guy has a typical Alabama LB season...
70: R3P6 DL PHIDARIAN MATHIS ALABAMA
Joe Judge influence...D line rotation depth
109: R4P6 TE NICK EUBANKS MICHIGAN
186: R6P6 WR COREY SUTTON APPALACHIAN STATE 230: R7P6 TE JAMAL PETTIGREW
Rest of these guys BPA

No trades..... Yeah I think we need to start a 2021 mock ....something to do with no offseaeon to speak of
Let's see how much this changes
6: R1P6 EDGE GREGORY ROUSSEAU MIAMI
There is no planet he lasts to 6,nor will chase and Smith get taken before this guy He could be as potentially hyped as Chase Young, especially if he repeats his 16 sacks from last year as a redshirt freshman.
No brainer
38: R2P6 WR RASHOD BATEMAN MINNESOTA 70: R3P6 WR DAMONTE COXIE MEMPHIS
2 number 1 type recievers day 2...Coxie especially...very T.O like hight, speed and skill sets with some amazing human interest stories...this is a guy you want in your town..
109: R4P6 LB JACK SANBORN WISCONSIN 186: R6P6 WR COREY SUTTON APPALACHIAN STATE 230: R7P6 RB TREY RAGAS LOUISIANA
Rest of these guys are BPA...
Picks 1-3 go as is Judge's dog can make the rest of tbe picks because the team would be in effect ready to contend ...
Oh
UCLA has an edge rusher named Osa Ohdigizuah....yeah..his brother...

My way too early 2021 offseason mock
Using the preseason rankings....we ended up at 6..ironically the trade back gets us to where I think we pick
We will be a team on the rise with a lot of foundation pieces and a defense that gells at the end of the season
The offense doesn't improve that much from last year, new systems..injuries and a fading Tate ..but a gelling O line,Barkley being a beast,Jones catching fire at the end of the season,Slayton looking like what he is but needs the number 1 guy to help,Kaden Smith taking the next step..Engram gets traded mid season ...
So
The ultimate GM doesn't let me do cuts yet...however Cutting Tate and Soldier a given... Resigning Williams and Tomlinson witb all the extra money to keep the d line together....
Dunno who is a free agent...so Draft
Trade back with Miami ..Engram gets Us the 2ns 2nd round pick back...
11: R1P11 WR JAYLEN WADDLE ALABAMA
Dire nwed of a dynamic playmaker....we finally replace Odell...adding him to this offense....the entire field is now in danger
35: R2P3 TE PAT FREIERMUTH PENN STATE
I want Mowat/Bavaro 2.0. Adding a great 2 way TE to Smith and an improved O line... Now with Waddle...... Barkley will have a record shattering season
38: R2P6 EDGE OSA ODIGHIZUWA UCLA
Because We learned how to say his brother's name...maybe this one stays healthy
43: R2P11 WR DAMONTE COXIE MEMPHIS
His game is T.O His character is off the charts....i want this guy on this team...
70: R3P6 C ALEC LINDSTROM BOSTON COLLEGE
Still an ambiguous situation at C. Is it Lemeux..who I think will be starting in 2021 Can't ever have enough good o linemen..i was drafting him around this spot last year.. Looks like a deep C class ..
109: R4P6 RB TREY SERMON OHIO STATE
Might finally decide to get a good backup for Barkley
186: R6P6 EDGE JUSTUS REED VIRGINIA TECH 230: R7P6 TE JAMAL PETTIGREW LSU
Rest of thewe guys BPA
So on paper we have a super bowl caliber offense,a top special teams unit and an improving defense 2021 is when the team is relevant again

You want to start the unnofical 2021 mock draft,COVID-19 version (this way we have the links ?) And let gee start tbe official 2021 one when he does? Might as well start familiarizing ourselves with prospects while there is a whole lot of nothing going on .. Lots of familiar names on there from last year

The "I think corner might be a bit of a need now" post Baker dumbassery way too early mock
Still sticking with my " we have to get legit weapons to finish the offense " mind set without reaching on a corner Another deep talented corner class.. I would love this haul
6: R1P6 WR JAYLEN WADDLE ALABAMA
Replacing Odell finally with those rare skillsets opposite Slayton and probably a top 10 O line ..with Barkley... A super bowl caliber offense
38: R2P6 CB CB PAULSON ADEBO STANFORD
Skillsets compared to Richard Sherman..
70: R3P6 WR DAMONTE COXIE MEMPHIS
Even with Waddle..we will have dangerous thin depth, especially after cutting Tate Slayton,Waddle, who knows if Sheppard survives the year,...we are banking on UDFA hopes and prayers to fill out this group this year Coxie has T.O skillsets...and if he develops we might not have to pay Slayton..
109: R4P6 TE LUKE FARRELL OHIO STATE
Who knows whats going on with Engram..he is a clone of Kaden Smith..Garrett uses a lot of 12.
186: R6P6 EDGE JONATHON COOPER OHIO STATE
I suspect we make a FA splash at edge rusher if we dud this year. Some depth
230: R7P6 G DEREK KERSTETTER TEXAS Interior deptb...bpa

My mock offseawon Tate and Soldier cut Engram traded for a 2022 2nd after a really good year during the draft
Tomlinson,Williams,Peppers and Barkley get their long term deals with a bunch of front loaded contracts...the kids show enough in tbe front 7 at the end of tbe year to let me do this
6: R1P6 WR JAMARR CHASE LSU
Reciver core going into the 2021 draft is Slayton and Shepard (thats if he isn't forced out with another concussion).People are somehow allergic to this tesm having a high powered offense and taking recievers early. By far best player available at a dire need...final piece to make this a top 5 offense that is contemporary and modern.
38: R2P6 TE PAT FREIERMUTH PENN STATE
Brought on by my trade of Engram, adding another 2 way TE to Kaden Smith,Giants now have a 12 formation to he reckoned with.
70: R3P6 CB PAULSON ADEBO STANFORD
I doubt he is still here...even if Baker is here still,Beal on year 4,BPA and a Richard Sherman skill set..makes the back end of this group instantaneously better
109: R4P6 WR NICO COLLINS MICHIGAN
Missed out on C Lindsrom by 2 picks....
Even after taking Chase, still a very thin group of WRs..especially if nobody of note was even functional in 2020 with the rest of them..
186: R6P6 C JOSH MYERS OHIO STATE
Very deep C class...Ohio State O linemen at the very least are average and fundamentally sound...have no ides how C will shake out but taking him here would be a good idea.
230: R7P6 RB ELIJAH MITCHELL LOUISIANA
We probably will need a backup for Barkley
This is am 11-5 or better team with this draft and the linemen pan out

Bored See how the big board shaped up
Ultimate GM is useless because they are still in 2020 offseason mode
So Hypocritically...
I traded Engram mid season after a very hot start but the defense was such an early season mess might as well take tbe 2nd from Chicago now and let Kaden Smith be the man ..which he does (70 catches for 800 yards and is the other main target other than Slayton The team finishes very strong... Barkley get near 2 K yards..the recievers other than Slayton hold back tbe offense.. (Slayton has a 75 catch 1100 yard type year but proves he isn't quite good enough to be a number 1) My offseason moves Cut Soldier,Tate and Zeitler.... Use that money to bring back both Williams and Tomlinson (the line finishes one of tbe top in tbe league and why the defense comes on strong late) Personally I think we pick around 10..they have us at 6
Jones does enough to give everyone comfort he is legit Let's get him some legit weapons
Trade back after both Rousseau and Chase go ahead of me with Tennessee to 18 and their 2nd and both 3rds...
18: R1P18 WR JAYLEN WADDLE ALABAMA
This is a Tyreek Hill/Odell type player..opposite Slayton...good luck..
38: R2P6 C JOSH MYERS OHIO STATE
**** it ..Lemieux plays RG,get a legit C...entire line is 25 and under and really talented ..
46: R2P14 TE PAT FREIERMUTH PENN STATE
A beast 2 way Gronk/Witten type opposite Smith in tbe 12.. 50: R2P18
LB CHAZZ SURRATT NORTH CAROLINA
BPA..add to the LB depth
70: R3P6 EDGE TYREE JOHNSON TEXAS A&M
Adds to the edge group
82: R3P18 WR CHRIS OLAVE OHIO STATE
Going into the draft the Giants had Slayton and Shepard (possibly)as the only reliable WRs..even after taking Waddle they still need depth...
Typical pro ready OSU WR with great pro ready skills
Rest of tbese guys were BPA 102: R3P38 RB STEVIE SCOTT III INDIANA 109: R4P6 CB AMBRY THOMAS MICHIGAN 186: R6P6 EDGE JUSTUS REED VIRGINIA TECH 230: R7P6 QB D'ERIQ KING MIAMI

I think it's time to make the 2021 mock draft
Anyway The post "cut down and official 2020 roster" version So let's see where we are this time end of the year as far as needs and roster development
So if I were to predict right now what happens and what I would do Offense I think I'm confident enough with the O line where I'm going deptb via BPA I have a really good feeling our starting O line of 2021 Tbomas/Hernandez/Gates/Lemieux/Peart could be a strength Yes I'm cutting both Solder and Zeitler, save money The recievers, looks like its in transition to more taller speed guys that have youth I'm going to do something drastic and it could be a risk depending on how Jones develops and if he can work with raw young guys and be able to always develop young ones.... I'm doing this going on my prediction Slayton becomes a perennial 75-80 catch-1100-1200,yards and 12 TDs a year player I'm cutting both Tate and Shepard...i know,popular.. But this team going more vertical they need non smallish quick but not vertical threats ..and thinking maybe Dillon or Bachman do the slot stuff eventually Also saves cap room
Defense If my prediction comes true our D line becomes a top 3 of not the best, which will allow our edge guys to all start being productive..especially Carter and Xman..and the kids we drafted at linebacker to be good... With the cap money saved ill do the unthinkable unpopular thing and extend both Williams and Tomlinson long term and keep that line intact
My glaring weakness as of now is number 2 corner......so......
R1P6 CB PATRICK SURTAIN II ALABAMA
BPA meets dire need perfectly...Joe Judge connection....no brainer
38: R2P6 WR RASHOD BATEMAN MINNESOTA
1st round talent falls to me in 2nd...very thin group after my moves, adds another speee/hight playmaker with number one upside
70: R3P6 LB CHARLES SNOWDEN UVA
BPA,will probably go early 2nd
108: R4P6 CB AMBRY THOMAS MICHIGAN
BPA...time to keep the spray and pray going at corner, because who knows how.many of these guys can actually play these days..
185: R6P6 EDGE JUSTUS REED VIRGINIA TECH BPA

I am assuming we are in the middle of the draft 13-18
On the record : we should trade out of our 1st round pick. There is no way to judge 1st round talent this season.
In case we do not .
Round 1 Marvin Wilson DT, Florida State
Round 2 Patrick Surtain II CB, Alabama
Round 3 Jaylen Waddle WR, Alabama
Round 4 Trey McBride TE, Colorado State
Round 5
Elerson Smith, Edge, Northern Iowa

6: R1P6 EDGE GREGORY ROUSSEAU MIAMI- If he’s there you have to take him I think. Total freak. I’m disappointed he isn’t going to play because I wanted to see him dominate from the edge bc a lot of his production game on the inside.
38: R2P6 WR TAMORRION TERRY FLORIDA STATE- Big WR who makes big plays. Ideally you get a really speedy WR with some size too. Terry plays pretty fast for 6’4. He’s fun to watch
70: R3P6 CB TARIQ CASTRO-FIELDS PENN STATE- CB is one of the biggest holes on the team. I liked what I saw from him when I watched them play. Seemed solid in coverage and more than willing to make tackles in the open field.
108: R4P6 C JIMMY MORRISSEY PITTSBURGH- Center insurance in case the Nick Gates experiment doesn’t pan out. He’s a really solid center prospect
185: R6P6 LB JABRIL COX LSU- supposedly a total freak of nature so I doubt he’s here or even makes it through day 2 with his improved level of competition. I think he’ll be a major riser
229: R7P6 WR EMEKA EMEZIE NC STATE- only saw him play once or twice but he was a fun one to watch. Didn’t seem to be overly fast but had really good hands and was strong as hell. DBs struggled to bring him down all day. I do like tough physical WRs even if I favor speedy guys these days

I am assuming we are in the middle of the draft 13-18 On the record : we should trade out of our 1st round pick. There is no way to judge 1st round talent this season. In case we do not . Round 1 Marvin Wilson DT, Florida State Round 2 Patrick Surtain II CB, Alabama Round 3 Jaylen Waddle WR, Alabama Round 4 Trey McBride TE, Colorado State Round 5 Elerson Smith, Edge, Northern Iowa
Scratch I forgot we do not have a 5th this year. Round 6 Elijah Hicks, CB, California Round 7 pick traded PS: This is the earliest Mock I have ever done. This only happens if 28 other teams decide not to participate in the 2021 draft
