Giants vs Bills - 10 things to watch
1. Home opener. After an unsuccessful trip to Dallas, the New York Giants return to MetLife Stadium this Sunday for their 2019 home opener. They host the AFC East’s Buffalo Bills, who last week defeated the New York Jets in a comeback thriller. The Giants have won the last three (in 2007, 2011 and 2015) and four of the last five games in the series against the Bills.
2. Circling the wagons around MetLife. As of Sunday night, the Bills will have played more games in MetLife Stadium than the Giants and Jets this season. Buffalo started the year on the road against the Jets, who jumped out to a 16-0 lead only to have the Bills score 17 unanswered points. Sunday will be the first time a road team has played at the same stadium in consecutive weeks since Baltimore did it in 2016, also at MetLife Stadium.
3. Eli-0. Quarterback Eli Manning is 3-0 vs. Buffalo, one of four teams he has a perfect record against as a starter. He is 4-0 vs. Houston, 3-0 vs. Miami and 3-0 vs. Oakland. Manning last met the Bills on Oct. 4, 2015, in Buffalo, where he threw three touchdown passes in a 24-10 Giants victory. They last faced each other in New Jersey on Oct. 16, 2011, when Lawrence Tynes kicked a game-winning 23-yard field goal with 1:32 remaining in a 27-24 Giants victory. 4. Injury report. NYG – Out: WR Sterling Shepard (concussion), WR Darius Slayton (hamstring), TE Garrett Dickerson (quad). Questionable: WR Cody Latimer (calf). BUF – Out: CB Taron Johnson (hamstring), WR Andre Roberts (quad). Questionable: TE Tyler Kroft (foot). 5. Engram’s growing importance. With Shepard out and Golden Tate on the second week of a four-game suspension to start the season, tight end Evan Engram again will be a focal point in the passing attack. The third-year pro caught an opening-drive touchdown last week en route to posting career highs in receptions (11) and receiving yards (116). 6. Saquon hundred. Running back Saquon Barkley needs five receptions to tie Carolina’s Christian McCaffrey (18 games) as the fastest running backs in NFL history to reach 100 career receptions. Last week, Barkley recorded his 14th game with at least 100 yards from scrimmage. He ran for 120 yards on 11 carries and caught four passes for 19 yards. His first carry was a 59-yard gain in which he reached a speed of 21.76 mph, which was the NFL’s fastest by a ball carrier in Week 1, according to Next Gen Stats. 7. Giants bring back TJ Jones. The Giants this week re-signed wide receiver TJ Jones, who led them in catches in the preseason but was released in the roster cut on August 31. The team created room on the roster by placing linebacker Kareem Martin on injured reserve. Martin, who played all 16 games last season, suffered a knee injury in Dallas. Jones, who spent his first four seasons in Detroit, is also an option as a return specialist. 8. Picking up the D. The Giants failed to record a sack or force a turnover last week against the Cowboys. The result was a loss for Big Blue and a perfect 158.3 passer rating for Dak Prescott, the first of its kind against the Giants with a minimum 20 pass attempts. The Giants have lost their last 11 games in which they did not force a turnover. On the other side, Buffalo has held nine consecutive opponents to less than 210 passing yards, their longest streak since 2004 and the NFL’s longest since Seattle’s streak of 13 games in a row from 2013-14. 9. Next up: Josh Allen. The defense’s next challenge is taking down second-year quarterback Josh Allen, who leads all players at his position in rushing touchdowns (nine) and 10-yard runs (24) since he was drafted seventh overall in 2018. The Bills are 6-1 when the former seventh overall draft pick has a rushing touchdown; they are 0-6 when he does not. The good news for Giants fans is that Allen has the third-highest interception rate (3.9% of pass attempts) in the NFL (minimum 224 attempts) since he came into the league. Ryan Fitzpatrick (4.7) is first, Jameis Winston (4.1) is second and Josh Rosen (3.8) is fourth. 10. Fantennial Kickoff. The NFL is continuing its centennial celebration with local team Fantennial Weekends, which the Giants are kicking off Friday with an evening under the lights of MetLife Stadium with current Giants Eli Manning, Saquon Barkley, Evan Engram and Jabrill Peppers, and legends Victor Cruz, Amani Toomer and George Martin. There will also be a special musical appearance by Bronx native and top-selling rap artist, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, and an exclusive 25th Anniversary showing of “Little Giants,” the classic kids sports movie. Dozens of Giants alumni will be celebrated on-field during Sunday’s game, including a special halftime ceremony when the Giants will reveal the greatest moment in franchise history.

I think this is a big game. I know, it’s only week 2 but you don’t want to start the season 0-2. You already lost a divisional game which we all know those games are crucial. This is a home opener, the crowd is going to be behind the team until they start to see the same old Giants.
Keys to the game. 1: Forget about last week. It’s done.. Move forward learn from your mistakes and focus on winning the 1st game of the season. 2: Play clean football, no dumb penalties, know your assignments, communicate with your teammates. Guy is out of position, help him out; 11 guys playing as one. 3: Run the ball early and often. We have Barkley, so use him. I would feed him the ball till his tongue is hanging out. Best player on the team by a mile, take advantage of it. 4: Get to the QB. Josh Allen can not sit back in the pocket with time to go over his progressions. I don’t care if he’s inaccurate, young, etc. Any professional QB not named Jamarcus Russell will find the open receiver and make plays if you give him the time. Rattle him, even if you don’t get the sack hitting him will give him second thoughts about following through with his passes. And lastly, show pride, you’re the NY Giants. We fans don’t back down from a challenge, neither should you guys. Now go out there and win a damn game!

I think Bills 27-10
No pass rush, no WRs, no chance.

I’m going 24-20 Giants.
Pound Barkley!
Be prepared to see 9 in the box. With our WRs a mash unit the Bills plan will be to stop us pounding Barkley. Stick with the run this week, but target Engram and use play action to take a couple shots over the top.
The Bills offense is bottom tier. If this D can’t slow it nothing left to say. I don’t expect our D to play well. I expect the Bills offense to simply be okay. Probably hit one long pass play for a score. Put together a couple more traditional drives. Anything more than 20 points is a sin.
This is your 3rd SB Eli Manning. Lead them to victory or bow out.

Giants may be worst team in the league. I cant see them better than "pick 'em" against anyone. No impact players on defense with no ability to pressure the QB leaving a porous and inexperience secondary expose. Offense centered around a horrible liability at QB, no receiving threats of any serious note. They have a good oline and pro bowl RB but that's all ....not nearly enough to compensate for the rest. Top if off with a dumbed down head coach and there you have it....

The Bills game out with 18 straight passes against the Jets, I'm assuming they'll do the same. The Jets held them in her before Mosely went out, we don't have a Mosely. Bottom line is Josh Allen kills you, you've got problems. The Jets were able to get pressure no Allen, their Oline is nothing special. The Bills have a good secondary but Darnold missed some plays. Unfortunately we have no WR's healthy.
The Giants were expected to lose at Dallas, they won't get off easy of they blow this one.

Unfortunately we suck until proven otherwise. All we do is lose, I don’t see that trend ending against the Bills.
Bills 31 Giants 13

I noticed how your post made total sense, but some of the sequences of those points made things contradictory, and that is what I trying to highlight.
For instance we have the "forget about last week" comment followed by "learn from your mistakes" which leads one to question exactly how does one learn from their mistakes if they had already forgotten them.
And then we have "know your assignments" follow by "help those who don't". That of course assumes some players won't do what you requested, and those who do should abandon theirs, in order to help the ones that don't.

That’s what happens when you drink glass after glass of wine. And wash it down with weed. I felt like a million bucks, but sometimes my mind is working faster than my fingers. Next time I’ll smoke first then drink.. Glad we got that settled..

If the Giants lose their home opener to the friggin Bills I suppose I'll either club a baby seal or drink a hell of a lot of booze.
*Checks yard; no baby seals*
Booze it is!

Was saving the 20 year old scotch for a good celebration. Maybe I'll have to break that bad boy open soon to numb myself.

Little off topic but does anyone know of a way I can stream the game for free online? I mean is there a site any of you guys use?
For some reason my guide claims I won't be getting the game tomorrow, don't why that would be the case, I only live like an hour from the stadium.

I stream the game almost every week. Links are posted within an hour or so before kickoff.

I woke up feeling pretty dangerous.
Let’s get a win.
The smell of grills being lit is in the air here at MetLife.

So, the game is not on here in Florida. If anyone has a good streaming service for the game, that would be much appreciated. I'm still in the middle of setting up my media room in the new house. So far, I have the TV and my new recliner ready to go. I'd like to know that if I spend the morning setting up everything else that I can actually USE the room.
Otherwise, I'm finding a bar and that's not good for anybody!!

Yeah I saw that! But for some odd reason my guide says I'll be getting the New England game although I live in central New Jersey. Of course The guide could be wrong though but I just wanted to have a back up plan just in case.
