Unfortunately the Giants never get these kind of calls. You called it I have been watching the Giants since 1980, so I have seen a thing or two! There is a pattern with these officials. Now how on earth this was not offensive PI while he is pulling his shoulder, only the refs know it. Total BS.

The rookies made an impact today. Dex with a sack, a blocked extra point, and some other solid plays. Baker looked a million times better than week one and two. Ximines had a sack. Slayton was big. He stretched the field and made some really key catches. Good to have him back. Connelly with some nice plays, an INT, and was calling the shots in his second game as a starter after Olgetree went down.

DJ looks just as good , if not better than all those QBs selected in the 1st rd last yr & just as good as this yr's crop. Dare I say, he looks better than Darnold, whom many of you wanted last yr. Still want Darnold or even Baker? Question? Has a rookie QB making his NFL debut, ever brought back his team from an 18pt deficit to win?

Worth every bit of the that #6 pick! Gettleman is looking like a genius right now. He saved/won the game, us fans and Getty & Shurmur's careers... I had forgotten what mobility in a QB can do for a team yet he still kept pocket presence Him with Eli hugging at the end was as cool and great as it gets!

That was a near perfect game for DJ. Sure there were a few fumbles, but what a start to his career, we're in for a treat guys and gals!! "Sure there were a few fumbles"
He's gotta do way better in that category, it's an area of concern.

Fair to say we have our future QB??? I sure think so! Good job kid!! That TD run from Jones will give DC's something to think about now, because it was easy to game plan for Eli: stack the box and let Eli beat you, which he could not do the majority of the time for various reasons (bad Oline, Eli getting older, etc) Hopefully, we will get Barkley back soon, although I think his injury will keep him off the field for a substantial time, because they would have to game plan for Barkley and Jones who can beat them either by throwing or running. Also, I wish we had a deep threat WR but oh, well. The major problem now is the Giants D.

Dex got a deflection to Peppers and Baker seem to have started to settle into the defense really positive stuff for a game that looked like it was gonna be a long day. Hope we can get Saquon back this year seemed like a freak incident.

Fantastic game, yes big ups to Fbomb. But also look at a lot of my recent posts before his first game. This guy is gonna be better than what the most optimistic person thinks about him. This kid is tremendous. His accuracy, demeanor , everything. He is incredibly advanced between the ears. Unbelievable. I dont mind the fumbles. The team made plays that's all. His clock needs to be a little bit adjusted but man this kid can play. Amazing.

Is it a coincidence the defense looked 10× better with Olgetree on the sidelines? Bethea needs to start getting phased out as well

32-31 is the final fellas. Believe it and it will happen. 32-31. I came into this thread at halftime because of how poor the D was. I was ecstatic with DJ but sick to my stomach over the defense. I really wanted the story book win for DJ--if he was deserving. I am a big believer in positive thinking and I have seen it work many times. I just want you to know that from the moment you posted this I left it up on my screen during live play. When commercials ended I came back to the post. Kudos on calling the shot!

Let that sink in everyone. No SB most of the game, no true #1 receiver, a paltry defense, a questionable head coach, a legend overlooking your every play, the draft media debacle, the recent media fiasco, a comeback situation in an opponent's stadium, a veteran opposing coach and DC wanting your rookie butt on the ground all day, a good NFL defense, a last minute drive and ability to carry a team. Who on earth could overcome all of the in their first rookie game. Daniel Jones, tremendous, the legend begins.

Guy lost Saquon in the 2nd quarter, put the offense on his back. What is the exact injury to SQB I herd more foot then ankle feet are tough looked like a freak thing he didn'tt twist his knee or ankle or take the hit on either. I’m REALLY worried it could be an Achilles

I could say the same about the Cowboys game: Dallas did not win the game, the Giants lost it by starting Eli. I knew no matter what the Giants were going to trot Eli out on opening day in Dallas. The one that bothers me is the Bills game--I think that one could've went differently with DJ. I think it was calculated to give DJ his first start on the road--just in case.
