Normally I'd say let's slow our roll... except I think this IS OUR SLOW roll. And when the supporting cast gells on both defense and offense we will be contenders. I think this will happen in the second half of the season. Too bad we probably won't be getting a top 10 draft pick tho. I don't remember being this happy just listening to a Giants game. I may have another proseco.

Yeah, so tell us: is the glass half empty or half full? I could say the same about the Cowboys game: Dallas did not win the game, the Giants lost it by starting Eli. I knew no matter what the Giants were going to trot Eli out on opening day in Dallas. The one that bothers me is the Bills game--I think that one could've went differently with DJ. I think it was calculated to give DJ his first start on the road--just in case. You know, since I did not know much about Jones, I refrained on making any posts about Jones either way. I said let's wait and see what he can do on the field. During preseason, I was more and more wonder why on earth would Eli start but then again I am biased when it comes to Eli. Although, I respect him immensely for what he did to get us to 2 SB's and especially the beating he took in San Fan, I had said right after the 2nd SB, that Both Coughlin and Eli had nothing more to give and the 3rd SB was just a pipe dream. I do not blame solely Eli for the demise of the Giants, but he does bear a great amount of responsibility. Especially, as he ages and lost whatever little mobility he had, his performance did not justify being the starter. Now, before we start measuring Jones for a jacket for Canton, we should wait until he has a few more games under his belt. But one cannot help not to like what we have seen so far barring the propensity to lose the ball easily.

What is the exact injury to SQB I herd more foot then ankle feet are tough looked like a freak thing he didn'tt twist his knee or ankle or take the hit on either. I’m REALLY worried it could be an Achilles I was to but now they are calling a high ankle that owls be much better the the achilles.

The kid looked good. But TB lost that game more than NY won it. Still, congratulations on turning the page. yes correct. Missed FG, Missed extra point and a blocked extra point. But the kid was nasty. Did things Eli could never do. Very accurate with his passes. And remember they dont have any star WRs and none that can gain consistent separation. The difference between having Eli in vs Jones is Jones moves around better giving time for the receivers to come open wherr eli would give up throw ball away/ into ground or take a sack. This kid can make things happen and moves out of pocket to pic up first downs to move chains. Also on first TD run was designed and 2nd on the 4th & 5 took off up middle. Td pass to shepard was nice put it where only his guy coukd get it. Engram did the work on his other one D is a major problem and they will lose a ton of games because of it. Barkley going down will hurt. Looks like a season ending injury

That TD run from Jones will give DC's something to think about now, because it was easy to game plan for Eli: stack the box and let Eli beat you, which he could not do the majority of the time for various reasons (bad Oline, Eli getting older, etc) Hopefully, we will get Barkley back soon, although I think his injury will keep him off the field for a substantial time, because they would have to game plan for Barkley and Jones who can beat them either by throwing or running. Also, I wish we had a deep threat WR but oh, well. The major problem now is the Giants D. Imagine when we get a top WR Imagine when we get a defense.

High ankle sprain. Been there. Couldnt even jog for 2 months. It took me about 6 months to be fully healed and not feel any kind of swollenness.
Mine was bad. Dislocated and torn ligaments.
Judging by Barkleys face, he did the same. Hopefully not though. I'm sure he will get treated much better than I did with mine.

Jones is not a legit QB. He is special. His prescence, his accuracy, his demeanor. He is a winner. Its early yes. The one comparison I see in the last 20 year as time goes on .......... Aaron Rodgers. Watching the game, i said the same thing a few times... Im watching Aaron Rodgers play

As big a win as it was for us, it was even more devastating loss that has to be for the Bucs. You look at how good they played yesterday They were in complete control of that game. Winston was having his way with our secondary, their defense was taking control of the line of scrimmage. Missed FG aside, Nobody sitting in the stands thought that would come down to the last play.
They've got some issues, but they might be the best all-around team we've played this year. If they can get more performances like that out of Winston every week they're going far this year.

I know they had some. Cant remember who Barkley missed just 2games with this injury in college but maybe it was less severe?? But if anyone can make it back in 4-6 its him Kinda sucks for DJ not having Barkley to keep defenses honest. Its going to be a lot tougher for him Whhat was the deal yesterday with the run blocking Barkley and Gallman were getting blown up as soon as they touched the ball. TB line that good?? Or do we need to worry? I remember Barkley terroizing the NFL last year behind a horrendous offensive line
