Very happy with the win. No matter how they got there. Hope we clean things up for next week against Minnesota.

they ended the game with the offense on the field enough said. lol right? I cant believe this is even an argument. some are never happy, they are learning that is where you run it , before Hillman fumbled it looked like he was gonna punch it in.

dude have you watched football? like seriously. Since when is calling a safe run on 2nd down a couple yards from the endzone a shitty ****ing call lmao. Look who got cute on the goaline in the superbowl remember the seahawks look how that turned out. This isn't madden dude. You can call creativy plays and stuff that is in the playbook, but you don't do it all the time. There are old reliables like short yardage runs that are a staple for EVERY OFFENSE in the NFL for a reason. Pull your head out of your ass. Also, if DJ doesn't like what he sees he can check out of it at any time. I'm all for wide open and fancy but inside the 5 you need smashmouth style or the legit threat of it. Your great teams keep it simple on the goal line exactly a couple yards away on 2nd down not a bad call. Oline needs to win their battles and get a puch, RB needs to hold onto the ball and fight for yards. There are passing plays or "creative" plays that are in the playbook and that we will see, but you can't hate a standard short yardage run on 2nd down a few yards from the endzone. its a staple for a reason.

Jones didn't duplicate last week, but then again it was to be expected for a rookie and Shurmur's game plan seemed a bit conservative today. Next week will be tough. They need to play better than they did today or they'll get murdered. All in all, the work in progress looks to be in progress. Growing pains and a learning experience while still doing enough to help the team win. well said my man.

Im going to say, the thing I come away with this game,
Disappointing. Very sloppy, ugly game. Only thing making me happy is we got the W and made Haskins look bad.
My recap soon to come.

Any chance we can beat the Vikings? Tate back next week so that's a plus. Hoping Connelly not seriously hurt. He'll be a big plus. He's a good receiver. He and Shep should open things up for each other.

Did not like the turnovers at all with Jones they are gonna happen the fumbles kill me, we are spoiled SQB has not lost a fumble and has one legit fumble in 18.5 games.

While ugly still good win. Sad to hear that Landon Collins from the post game show walked past former teammates.

your obviously not used to having a big lead as a giants fan, thats what teams do to finish out games. That's what teams do? Dive it into a pile of players 3 times and then punt? Funny I thought the object was to get first downs and maintain possessions. Yup. I’d argue if they are up that big as they were they don’t have to jam it up the middle for 3 and outs. Have some balls and go for a 1st with a few more elaborate plays. It’s not like they were clinging to 1 score lead, especially vs. that garage team.

Cry baby lol and try's to fight the guy who out played him. Jabrill Peppers says "it's just football" about his dustup with Landon Collins. This was admittedly a big game for Peppers who was intent on changing the narrative about him.

Has Collins made a single play today? He made three tackles on the score sheet. Imagine being paid $84M to make 3 tackles in a game. He made 9. Mayo led the Giants with 8. He was also top 10 in the league going into todays game. www.espn.com/nfl/boxscore?gameId=401128059Why do so many on here hate ex Giants? Collins wanted to play for us and was upset when we didn't want him. Why is that a bad thing?

That magical long 3rd down conversion by Jones got called back too on a very questionable call.

So happy we didn't draft Haskins. The difference between the two QB's is stunning. Haskins looks light years away and lost. Jones looks NFL ready his first two games. "Gut"llemen looks like a genus! Jones throws are on target even the forced turnovers. Haskins looks like shit on his throws and overwhelmed!

Collins wanted to play for us and was upset when we didn't want him. Why is that a bad thing? He had 3 solo tackles. The other 5 were assists. He wasn't even top 5 in the score sheet for his team in defensive stops. And keep in mind, he's an in-the-box safety and we ran the ball quite a lot. So we can agree he was a 84M non-factor, can we not? We can agree that his play through 4 games hasn't made a difference too, right? What you're saying about fans hating ex players is a bit of a stretch, but I'm going to go on a limb and say that maybe it's the ones who don't stop talking that justifiably draw the ire of fans?

Sloppy game but I'm happy that we won a game we were expected to win...obviously Jones didn't look as good as he did last week but that's to be expected from a rookie QB that will have growing pains...i'm not too disappointed in Daniels over all play.. nice to see the defense step up these last two games ...losing Connely is big...that kid has a knack for being around the ball and making big plays...

Only throw by Jones that really disappointed me was that wide-open miss along the sideline, which would have probably gone for a TD.

The OC made the correction to #8 staring at #87. The RB fumbles - inexcusable. Letting #80 back on after muffing 2 punt returns is good coaching. He fixed it.

24-3 155 yards rushing RBs don’t matter The running back that doesn’t matter had 63 yards on the ground. And 55 yards receiving, and two touchdowns on the day. That’s 118 yards total, a good day for a position that doesn’t matter.

How do you figure? There was 3 seconds left. If we got the PI call it was first and goal at the one yard line. Do we go for the TD? Or kick the FG anyway? Your right it was going to be a FG either way i think. On the Jones run prior for 12 yards to Skins 5 he took what he could get and stopped the click by going out of bounds He had only 1 defender to beat and under different circumstances may of tries to juke him to get in. But knowing he had no timeouts he did the right thing. Some rookies might get caught inbounds and time runs out

We had a sloppy game today but in the end they did what they should have done to banged up offense, and a below average defense. They should have shut them out had a goal line stand and pressured and harassed the QBs all day and gave Peterson 28 yards on the ground. On Offense they blew some points by turning the ball over but they were good on third down should of had at least 30 points.
