I don’t know how much they are going to suck, but they may actually be fun to watch. I like what Morris brings, he said they won’t be pushed around and backed that up, I like it.

Aaaaaaand the season is over.... :-)
Hopefully RJ plays big out there. Not much more to care about with them. 30 wins?

The Knicks? They ever draft Ewing's successor at center? I truly feel sorry for Mutts/Jests/Knucks fans, they must love misery.

Knicks played 3 strong quarters last night. Unfortunately the game is 4. That 2nd quarter killed them. They are not good enough to come back from that kind of deficit.

Yes meniscus surgery. And the way he goes so hard he may be prone to injury. Hes going up against guys now just as big or bigger then him. He wont get away with some of the stuff he did in college

Knicks down 10 early fought back and actually had a few leads the last 97-93 with 8 minutes left. Then the no name Spurs ( well except for DeRozenand one other ) with no Manu, Ton Parker, Duncan etc went on a big run now up 112-99 with 3m left. 19-4 run in 5m. Typical Knicks.

120-109 final. 27-6 run by SA over last 8m. I think we may see a lot of that scenario this season.

Knicks fall to 1-4 with loss to Orlando tonight. With 4:25 left it was 84-82. But knicks outscored 11-2 to close it out.
By contrast the other night the knicks outscored the Bulls 15-0 over last 4m

Stop putting Barrett at PG. Should have just put Nkitilina out there and leave Barrett at his natural position. Fitzdale was most responsible for that loss. Winnable game. I really am already sick of hearing about good efforts and “played pretty well”. Also Knox deserves more minutes than he is getting.

I watched the first 3/4's of the game before getting somewhat disinterested. Was a really sloppy game by both teams. Knicks are a really poor shooting team, they can be hard to watch.

Have they officially been eliminated yet from postseason contention. They were eliminated on opening night. The Knicks will be a punchline until Dolan either passes away or sells the team. I'm a nets fan, but have some sympathy for you guys.

Knicks brass calls impromptu press conference, throws David Fizdale under the bus for team THEY built If Steve Mills and Scott Perry wanted the Knicks to be good, they should've signed good players The New York Knicks, who fell to 2-8 after a 21-point loss to the Cavs on Sunday, are arguably the worst team in the NBA. Entering Sunday, they had the worst offense in the league. The worst net rating. The worst field goal percentage. And a bottom-10 defense. All of those numbers got worse against Cleveland, which is clearly no juggernaut itself. So the Knicks stink. Everyone knows this. Except, apparently, THE KNICKS. After the pummeling on Sunday, team president Steve Mills, with general manager Scott Perry at his side, took to the podium for an impromptu press conference in which Mills made it clear he and Perry expected this rag-tag Knicks team THEY put together would be better than it has been 10 games into the season. Who knows what possibly could've led them to believing this, but they believed it all right. And now they're frustrated. And clearly not above throwing coach David Fizdale directly under the bus for what are largely their sins. "Obviously Scott and I are not happy with where [the team's] at right now," Mills told reporters. "We think the team's not performing to the level we anticipated or expected, and it's something we think we collectively have to do a better job of delivering the product on the floor that we said we would do at the start of the season. "We still believe in our coaching staff," Mills continued. "We believe in the plan Scott and I put together, and the players that we've assembled. But we also have to acknowledge that we haven't played at the level we expected to play at. We've seen glimpses of how we can play as a team when everything comes together, but we've got to find a way to play complete games at the level we expect our team to play at. That's a responsibility we take collectively, but I also think it's important for us to communicate to our fans that we're not happy where we are right now. ... We have to, as a group, come together and be more consistent in terms of how we play." www.cbssports.com/nba/news/knicks-brass-calls-impromptu-press-conference-throws-david-fizdale-under-the-bus-for-team-they-built/

I understand the hate for Zing now, but I still think its the Knicks fault he left. He should never have been traded and should have been treated better. HE made me happy a few years ago watching the Knicks again. Not sure RJB is that guy.

The knicks are a pathetic losing organization and he just wanted out. Nothing more or less. Dolan is holding that team down. Just because a team drafts you, that doesn't mean you are destined to stay there forever. Especially staying there and playing for little Jimmy.

It's just incomprehensible how an organization can be so terrible for so long. Especially in the NBA where most teams have quick turn around due to the players moving around so much and there are only 5 players playing at once, so even just getting 1 star would boost even the bad teams.
I really want to like the Knicks and watch them and get into basketball again, but they make it impossible.
I'm not seeing a ceiling of superstar from RJ Barrett either. Just another good player on a bad team that never wins.
Why is it so hard for them to be competent? We bitch about the Giants about how long it's been that they have been sucking but its 4x longer for the Knicks.

It defies the laws of averages to suggest they can not find a combination of 5 that can win In the time frame that have been so bad. I do not think they could beat the Washington Generals

Fizdale just got fired. He was not the right coach for a young developing (haha) team. His MO is working with star players. Knicks have been devoid of that for too long now.

Seriously, the state of NY sports is SAD. So much garbage. And about talking about garbage that’s been sitting on the curb for years. Thank God I'm also a Yankees and Islanders fan. Those are my only 2 Hope's. Syracuse football made me feel warm and fuzzy last year. Knicks need to be sold more than the Mets. They are a black hole of infinite sadness. It amazes me the NY lure is no longer impactful for the Knicks in the Garden. Sad. That Porzingus trade looks worse by the day. They basically got nothing for him. The draft picks will be worthless as well as good as Dallas is.
