Dallas sucks and will blow it this season like all other seasons. I watched the entire jets game yesterday.
And I enjoyed every single minute of it.

Lol I'm not saying we are winning the SB, but look at the NFC, who really scares you? SF and NO look pretty good but other than that nobody is unbeatable, not even those teams. Packers maybe.

Yeah I forgot about the Packers, they might actually be the most complete team considering offense and defense, right there with the Saints and Niners for sure. Those three are all pretty complete teams offensively and defensively. When the Saints get Brees back I think they will end up being the best of the three, but the Niners have really come on too.

the next game is vs the Cards. Let’s see what they do. Cards and Murray did well today. I realize the Falcons D stinks but Murray looked pretty good. The gameplan is simple. Contain Murray and feed Saquon. yeah... easy... ok

Absolutely correct. As lousy as the Giants have played the last 2 weeks after the smoke cleared only 1 game behind in the division. 3 games left with Dallas and Philly. Still both teams are better than us. But to say we can't compete might be premature. I originally had said we go 6-10 this season with outside chance of 7-9. Now I feel from 5-6 wins. We haven't beat a team with a winning record, that's the next rung on the ladder imo.
Arizona could be a good test for us this week. Some fans think we should be much better than Arizona but were really not. But their a bad team and you should beat bad teams on your schedule. Their looking at it the same way.
If were actually going to try and compete for a division or at least show some competitiveness we need to win this game.

The Falcons have bad defense but Murray and the Cards hooked up on quite a few big pass plays. Murray can throw the ball very well.
Their run game looked pretty good too.

My fear is Murray runs wild or kills us with RPO's....

My fear is Murray runs wild or kills us with RPO's.... Isn't that why you assign a specific LBer to spy on the QB all game in specific 2nd & 3rd & long situations & have him blast the QB every time he does an RPO, because in that instance , he is no longer a QB but a runner. the damn refs cannot call RTP in that situation. The QB is deciding at that moment to either put the ball in the RBs belly or keep it himself to run with. Either way, blast him every time & after a few good hard hits, that QB will be begging the OC not to run anymore RPOs.

Too bad they don't have a LB good enough to accomplish this..

Until the Giants prove they can beat the Eagles and Cowboys consistently they have no shot at the division crown. They will lose the remaining 3 games vs. Philly and Dallas.

Wins over Az/Det to get them to 4-4 could make that game a very important game pertaining to a playoff spot. NY once again , needs to treat every remaining game as a playoff game. Why HCs don't preach this mindset to their players is beyond me. Instead you get the usual, " there's still a lot of games to be played" BS card. 'A lot" of games soon turns into "must win" games in late Nov & Dec. That's why teams like NE always do their best to get off to great starts so they don't have to be playing too many "must win" games in the final 5 weeks of the season cuz they have already sealed up a playoff spot by Thanksgiving! Theirs's only 16 damn games in a football season, every damn game is important to win!

Expected the division to be much stronger than what it is (Eagles and Cowboys). Eagles never seem to have both sides of the ball playing well at the same time this season when i've watched em, cowboys can't win against good teams so far. Maybe with the return of saquan and E.E and if the Defense can play at the level it did against NE we might, just might have a chance, but i HIGHLY doubt it. Antoher season or two and we should be solid all around.

Being a game behind for first place tells me one thing. This division is terrible.

Philly lost to 1-5 Atl & Dallas lost to 0-4 NYJ. 2 bad teams. We've lost to 4 teams that have 500 or better records, Dallas/Buff/Vikes/NE & DJ has been w/o SB in 3.5 games & w/o Shep/Engram the past 2 games vs 2 top defenses. Zeke had 100yd & the Dallas D held the Jets to 3 in the 2nd half & Dak couldn't produce enough pts to beat them? Supreme game manager! Skip is going crazy making up every excuses for Dak that he can think of. He keeps pulling Dak's QBR as some excuse as for why he's a great QB.

I dont know why the seahawks aren't on your radar. They look legit and a team to worry about. RW is an elite qb that's special and they got a solid running game on top of that. Seahawks and the Saints with Brees are the team to beat in the NFC. Still not sold on the niners, packers, or the bears. We will see how this whacked out NFC plays out.

We freaking lost to a vince young led eagles team at home and won it all in 11. We also lost to a terrible vikings team in 07 as well. 07 was the year the giants didn't beat ONE SINGLE TEAM with a winning record except for the skins. Its all about november and December to separate the contenders from the pretenders.

I think Dallas has best overall talent, but a mediocre coach and QB. Eagles have best coach but missing talent in some key positions. Giants talent when healthy would make them competitive but imo the HC is weakest of the 3 teams. That's why I don't get too excited about being 1 out. Still one can dream. Mediocre QB? There is no doggone way in heck that Dallas Prescott is mediocre.

Especially when you have the "best" RB in the game + Amari Cooper at WR.

I very much appreciated DJ being disgusted when plays didn't work vs the Pats, and he looked very assertive in the huddle. I'm expecting a big game from him next Sunday.

SF might be the sleeper team in the NFC imo. #3 O #2 D, that kinda balance on both sides of the ball is a recipe for a deep playoff run. Jimmy G vs TB, that would be something to see.
