It's terrible. 1 yd on 13 carries. I really wish we could've traded back with that pick, get an O-line stud at 10-15 plus a couple more early rounders. I haven't been critical of Gettleman, but that one decision is really sticking in my craw. emoji How would you feel if a no name runner had such a game as Barkley? Let THAT sink in. It would be more acceptable if a no name runner had such a game. I really doubt that this would happen though. No name runners run hard (most of them). I don't place all the blame for SB's struggles on the O-line. It's his style. He tries to make defenders miss completely, rather than employing some elusiveness in combination with power to at least get a few positive yards. He's a physical freak, and a nice young man, but if we would've traded back with that 2nd overall pick, and found a RB somewhere else, we'd be miles ahead now. Nick Chubb is balling for Cleveland (one example of many). Saquon's a Giant, so I'll continue to root for him.

Seriously? You do not see anything wrong with Shurmur's play calling today? Why does he keep running both Barkley and Gallman up the gut? How about that QB call on 4 and 1 form our own end of the field with a QB who is prone to fumbling? I am sorry, the entire coaching staff have proven they incompetence and they need to go soon. Useless word salad from the instant gratification negatard troll Ahhhaaaaaaa! You are so dumb, you do not even know the meaning of "instant gratification"! How do you like the loss to the 1-7 Jets today dumb ass? Or you must have liked the "stellar" play calling of Shurmur having the RBs run up the gut for a who 9 yards the entire game. You are really blind. I am stating the facts and you reply with mambo-jumbo because you don't have anything intelligent to say!

A missed gimme FG by TB kicker is all that separates this team form being 1-9 with their only win over the also atrocious Skins. Face it, we are now reliving the 70s Pygmies football all over again. Was too young for the 70s debacle, thought a decade like that couldn't happen again, boy was I wrong.
Since 2013 till week 10 of 2019, this team is 40-65 or a 6-10 record for the past 6.5 yrs. with just 1 measly WC playoff app.
From 2000-2012, the team was 116-101 with 7 playoff app, 3 SB app & 2 SB titles in that 12yr span for an avg 9-7 record
Sad thing about it all is that for the past 19yrs, this team's overall W-L record excluding playoffs, is 156-166, add a 10-6 playoff record & we're still under 500 at 166-172. We just caught lightning in a bottle by some miracle on 2 occasions (07'-11') cuz let's be truthful here, even in our 2 SB title yrs, we were far from being labeled the best team in the NFL during the regular season either yr with records of 10-6 & 9-7. We were pretty much expected to be 1 & done in the WC games. How we beat teams with 18-0, 15-1 & 13-3 records will baffle experts forever. All those teams ( NE in 07' beat us in the regular season along with Dallas 2x, GB, in 11' GB/SF beat us in reg season )
Still think the 86'-90' teams are the 2 best NY teams ever & woulda crushed the 07' & 11' versions.

Why not 3 step drops for Jones?...Why don they do that? Jones needs to have a clean game. Picks and no fumbles. When he does have time he needs to see hos 2nd and 3rd reads. He missed a couple of open guys last week. This will be a tough game for the Giants Jets are top 5 against the run and have held down some pretty good offenses. If Jones can keep it clean they might be able to eek one out. you were right about the run game. Jones' lack of awareness is troubling. The rookie excuse is done for me in that regard. He needs to pull his head from his ass and figure out the fumbling issue in regards awareness issues in the pocket
