Jim Harbaugh is an unstable individual and I for one would never want him any where near this team.

We should stick with Shurmer one more year. A lot of what we are seeing could be due to complete roster overhaul and, as a result, a team heavy on first or second year starters. Is he perfect, no. But some of his "boneheaded" plays may have looked like genius moves with better player execution. The coaches who should be looked at are Shula, Hunter, Dawson and Withers. Each of their units has shown lack of growth in young players. Shula needs to go and Shurmer needs to bring in someone he will trust with playcalling. I was in favor of hiring Shurmur and was glad when we did but he has worn me out and now its time for him to go so we can move on to someone who can get the job done here..

How was his play calling in the SB when they scored 31 against Baltimore? Was he playing not to lose when they put up all those points in the 2nd half? When your back is against the wall it makes you change, but the fact remains his timid playcalling on the goal line is a major reason they choked at the end IDK, if Krapinick would have made the pass. Jim would have best John . BTW, I had bet with someone. That Harbaugh would win the Super Bowl !

Jim Harbaugh is an unstable individual and I for one would never want him any where near this team. It’s two sided with Harbaugh. On one side there is the QB whisperer/guru that gets a lot out of his players and turns QBs around. Harbaugh may do wonders and turn Jones around. On the other aide is the crazy guy that starts fights with other coaches, breaks his hand pinching Jim Kelly in the face and gets numerous DUI when he is coaching Stamford.

Harbaugh is a damn good coach. He’s a kind of a dickey, but he has shown he can turn a franchise around. Those 49er teams were great. Now saying all of that, his issue in San Fran is he wanted more control, he butted heads with the GM at the time. So here, he would not go to a franchise to yet again have a GM tell him what to do. It’s no coincidence that Mara has hired coordinators back to back. He took a gamble at inexperienced coaches and it has shown to have been a failure. Now hiring coordinators with no head coaching experience has worked. See Frank Reich, Doug Pederson, even Jim’s brother in Baltimore was a special teams coach. We for some reason have found the wrong guys. I hope, matter of fact, I pray the next hire is the right one. Made Alex Smith a pretty damn good QB too.

I don't know...does Mara have a really bad drinking problem? Probably. It would explain a lot about the franchise.

No Thank You!
Also think Harbaugh would be a TERRIBLE Fit in New York and I don't see him taking a NFL Job unless he is given 100% Control and that is clearly not happening here

Not good enough apparently, since he benched him for Kaepernick
