It's why every time we play them out pitchers are so worried they are tipping pitches. Red Sox did this last year too. Remember the Apple Watches?

Crap like this plus the 90s roiding era is what made me quit being a baseball fan in 2008. Add in the babying/coddling of starting pitchers with 5/6 inning/100 pitch counts & I just said, "nope, not for me".
It sickens me to see pitchers of today getting $300 million dollar 10yr contracts who couldn't hold the jockstraps of a Nolan Ryan/Tom Seaver/Steve Carlton, Jim Palmer, guys that went 9 almost every time, threw 300+ innings, struck out 300-400+ & completed 15+ games every damn yr & won 20+ games 5-6 or more times in their careers. Nowadays you got guys winning the Cy Young with 13-14 wins. Gimme a break!

The advance of science and technology have shifted the way sports operate. This is why guys like Cole and Verlander and Scherzer are such weapons. They are the throw backs.

Believe me, I am as pissed off about the coddling over protective treatment that QBs get but at least they play the entire 60 min. How in the hell is a pitcher gonna get the Cy Young for winning just 11 games in 32 starts! Yeah, the stinking Mutts gave the guy zero run support in the vast majority of his starts, I understand that, but still, 11 wins? 20 wins used to be the standard for Cy Young consideration. Nah, sorry, the game of baseball has devolved imo. Vast majority of hitters can't even bunt for a basehit anymore. Teams put a shift on a player & he can't even bunt the ball the other way for a hit! It's all about the long ball.

There was video of a game where an Astros hitter was down 0-2 & you hear a "bang" noise just before the pitcher is gonna throw the pitch & the Astro hits a HR. Also saw vid of a Red sox hitter doing the same thing. Would hate to think these cheating bastards shafted the Yanks outta the WS in 16' & this yr by cheating like this.

I think the league will come down on them extremely hard for all of this. Talk about compromising the integrity of the game, holy schmoley!!

Let's not let Boston off the hook either. They did something similar, but hardly anyone is saying anything about it.

I say strip them of the 2017 championship and any awards given. And if they prove cheating was done in 2019 as well, which appears to be somewhat true, take all of from 2017-2019 away and not recognized.
Then ban then for the next 3-5 years from the postseason. Give them the death sentence.

Report: Astros Admit Sign Stealing to MLB, Deny Installing Special Camera Members of the Houston Astros organization reportedly admitted to stealing signs during recent interviews with Major League Baseball. According to SNY's Andy Martino, some of the interviewees said they had access to a live feed from a center field camera that aided in decoding signs in 2017, but they denied that any special cameras were installed for the sole purpose of sign stealing. The Astros reportedly believed they were "in line with industry standards" because they felt other teams used technology to steal signs as well, but the practice is illegal nonetheless. bleacherreport.com/articles/2866994-report-astros-admit-sign-stealing-to-mlb-deny-installing-special-camera
