I’m confused. Do we need a thumper or a Jacobs type? I was going to mention that Jacobs was a horrible short yardage back. Somehow. He's a thumper and don't dispute it. It's bad form or something.

That said, Jacobs owns two of my top 5 NY Giants runs of all time. 1. Absolutely obliterating Landry 2. Setting the tone of the NFCC game vs the Packers when he made Woodson shit his pants in fear just before lowering the boom.

idk. i guess we will find out if he feels he wants to play on other team. Well you said you have the feeling he feels forced out. That implies you think he deserves an extension with the NY Giants. Or are you saying you think he feels he's being forced out of the entire NFL? Eli CANNOT feel misplayed by GM or ownership. He made great money in his farewell season, and has been treated better than 99 percent of fading athletes on the planet. it's now on him. I thought that was a beautiful tribute to him but it's now on him if he wants a different end to the book. History says it won't be pretty if he chooses that.

So if the starter is healthy enough to start, he will.

I’m certain that the majority if not all of the comments you selected say that. I doubt that it’s in any way a majority but I invite you to do the work up and report the results. Or just keep positing your feelings as all the evidence needed. That’s become the internet standard. or you could click on the comments and read for yourself,. but maybe its like that time you didnt believe shumur said yes to the question that he thought jones would give them a better chance of winning. You didnt believe that either. I did click on them. It's exactly as expected. That's true I did. How'd that work out? About as well as Beckham finally getting a real QB to throw to him, huh? Oh wait, that wasn't you. That was some other mensa sub group that was selling that whopper.

I agree on both which is why it was so frustrating to me to watch him run east west and tap dance around in the backfield.

You and I believe one pipsqueeky media pointy head feel this strongly. But take heart, I'm sure there's a ton of casual fans that buy that rap. You said significantly better than he ever did with Manning. Since this year's gentleman's bet was over before it started, let's make it interesting. How about $10K?

Well. That sucked. Eli wasnt awful enough. A few meaningless wins and we can be picking 6th or 7th now. They aren’t beating the Eagles. Next week is 50/50. So 4 wins is a good bet. Yup. And we miss out on our game changing pass rusher or elite LT.

Defense and OLine both played well today. Then again dolphins suck, tied with us at 3 wins. While we have some talent on offense, dolphins seem completely devoid of it on both sides of ball.

I want Gates in as a starter They should let him finish up at RT. I liked his game he started there and he looked good today.

Well...you're new here, so you may not know a lot of history. There was this total ****ing moron named Harooni...total loser who knew nothing about football but was totally obsessed with Eli. Anyway, this Jackass Harooni would make polls about Eli and they would always end up showing exactly the opposite of what he thought they would. I think what would trip him up was that he would read some post by some guy on the internet, and then claim that that's how everyone feels...****ing idiot, right? Anyway, good luck with your poll.
