None of us knows how the coaching thing will turn out, but we have bright spots to build around for sure. It's nuts to put the cart before the horse regarding the draft. Actually, with the talent on this team I guess you could consider it good fortune(if you were looking forward to 2020/2021 to be legit) to even be in a position to draft so early. Meanwhile the new QB is getting very valuable experience and just completed his 2nd late game win. Sure, there may be a player missed out on but there are several needs. Not to mention some wins may just get our FAs to want to sign w NYG. To top it off, the FA pool is not very deep this year in the areas of need for NYG. Prospective FAs want to see hope. That offense today is the way it should look most of the time in 2020. A nice little bonus is that backup RT Gates may just be starter material, if not then a top notch utility guy. He played flawlessly for the 2nd week at 2 different positions. I love the poise DJ exhibited. He ran just the right amount and his play fakes were excellent. He's looking safeties off now and damn he's accurate. Lets enjoy the win and get ready for hopefully a much better test next week. Yes it just amazes me that people are mad that we won a damn game! The same people who would be ripping everyone if we had lost. It's not in my DNA to root for the Giants lose a game. I can't do it. We don't know what any player in the draft will become. We don't know who the Redskins will pick. We will still have a high draft pick and the chance to get a really good player. Relax....

Miami just kicked GW FG in OT, that should move us up to 4th now, right? Cincy is locked into #1 Thank you, Miami......

at this time next year no one will care we won this game We will care we don’t have Chase Young Giants won in Washington 40-16 last year. It really set us up for success! Feel the success! Feel it! yep especially if hes chasing jones all over the backfield next 10yrs for the skins The problem is teams players coaches don't quit. If they do you get one good player on a team full of quitters what good does that do. These were 2 teams heading in different direction one is building the other is signing safety's for 14 mill per to sock to their rival. Or the owner taking over the war room when he sees something he wants but the guys he pays might not give it to him.

No need to hang around it your not happy about the team winning. You're happy that we won a meaningless 4th game that just knocked us outta the top 3 in the draft? If anything, this game proved we need to draft Young to help improve this stink ass D that did their best to give the game away. This O will put up pts next yr, what NY needs is a D that can limit opponents to 21 & under. This win did nothing positive for the future of the organization, another meaningless win next week does even less! I'm gonna be back next season to see how you & any others that are happy about this win, feeling when Young is wrecking our O as a Redskin 2x a yr. Wonder how many , including you, will still be happy that NY won this meaningless game.

Remember when posters said they could handle the losing as long as there were positives to look at ! Honestly I'm not emotionally invested in wins and losses and haven't been all year It's a nice feeling to win though of course I will vouch for you. From pre season you were happy with the draft but preached to cool our jets that it was going to be 2020. After seeing how NYG moved the ball late last season and how DJ looked in Pre season my optimism kicked in. We are in a coaching quandry. As I have said before, I do think Shurmur is an excellent OC, and has done a good job with DJ--but I am definitely not sold on him as a game manager or leader of men. I honestly don't know what ownership/management will do with him. I would bet Bettcher is gone either way. As for DG, I think it would be a colossal mistake to fire him when you factor in his drafts, his trades, and some of the FAs and PS grabs he has conducted. Not too mention some of his NON signings. They all have hits and misses, but the hits have to be big. If the Eagles find a way to win this Cowboy game, next week will be NYG SB. They could play spoiler VS a hated rival, or if they lose but look competitive in a must win game for the Eagles there's the draft order thing again.

Did Josh Norman get a single snap? I never noticed him on the field. One sideline shot in Q3 his uni was completely clean

The NY Giants need to leave the field next sunday believing that they are gonna be relevant. If Shurmur accomplishes that he earned his 3rd year like TC had to do it changed him as a coach made him not a good coach but a guy who could adapt.

Denver 20 -17 over Detroit Are we allowed to root for other teams to lose to secure a better draft pick...despite the negativity that consumes? Not sure of the rules regarding that.

Can't be any worse than what I'm doing right now--pulling for the EAGLES(ugh, tastes awful) so the finale is meaniful. Then, NYG gets a real test, win or lose. DJ starting out his career 1-0 vs Eagles would be sweet, but not if they are resting everyone.

I will take the best draft position I can take if it involves he Giants losing it gets a little dicey. But anyone else I don't give a rats @$$.

This guy is one of the most clueless people I have ever seen in all my years of posting at various Giants forums. This is actually an achievement

So cute how you try so hard to find just the right words! Why don't you enlighten all of us dummies and explain how you wanted the Giants to lose the game today. Should the players have made bad plays on purpose? Should Shurmur have taken 4 knees in OT?
