With many players I think it's the fear of injury. Jenkins would be the poster child for that! With some veteran CBs it's the Diva mentality, and it was started by "primetime" Deon Sanders. "Business decisions" were celebrated instead of ridiculed. We have talked about this on the board before, proper tackling is punishing to both parties and in some cases hurts! Tackling is all desire and motivation. Are there situations that call for slighter built DBs to use caution--absolutely, but many more sad attempts are seen each week. I think we will see excellent tackling attempts by DBs this Sunday, partially because that's why their teams are there and because they will be extra motivated. KC's DBs have the biggest test. I really hate having defensive players who can't tackle and the Giants have them on all three levels.. Hopefully this changes with Judge!!

Certainly the Championship Giants teams were known for tackling. Fundamentals are critical.
