Didn't know where to put this. Probably just echoing the thoughts and memories of all of us Giant fans everywhere.
Here on Sat. Feb. 8th, 2020 I am flicking through channels and low and behold when I hit the NFL channel is a replay of the Giants- Pats SB game when we ruined their undefeated season. My wife had me laughing as she walked by and said I was on the edge of the couch with my hands clasped on Bradys last 2 passes to Moss even though I already have watched this outcome a dozen or 2 dozen times already. And knew we would win. There playing SB games all day.
Anyway I had no intention of actually watching it but wound up watching every play from mid way thru 2nd qtr. That game had so many heros for us. Almost every player made a big play somewhere in that game. I'll always have a spot in my heart for that team, what heart. Not only during the SB game but remember the victorys in the playoffs over Dallas and G.B. ? I thought most of us felt we would beat Tampa in the Wild Card rd.
When we played N.E. on the last game of the year and the NFL took it off NFL network and put it on regular TV and we played N.E. tooth and nail with all our starters and lost to them 35-31 it propelled us and built our confidence going into the playoffs. After that game we smelled the blood in the water it was just such a great feeling.
It's seems so long ago, this losing has to stop. We need that pride and toughness desperately. Hoping for one more time of nostalgia with my beloved Giants
