Haha. Connelly played in 4 NFL games his entire career. He isn’t Green? Come on Man. Lee is a 2x Pro Bowler. I am sure he can teach Connely a few things AND he also played 16 games last season. What is he going to teach him? How to tackle? How to read a block? Or Sean’s favorite how to get injured? Connelly was by far a promising player before the injury, hell he was starting to become our best player on defense. You’re acting like these young players need mentors to help them tie their shoes. I’m sure Ogletree and Golden showed him the ropes of what it is to be an NFL player. Keep Lee and his often injured ass out of here. How did Bethea and his “mentorship” help out our secondary last year? During the week Bethea showed the guys in the secondary how not to play the safety position week in and week out. I am not going to start an argument and compare a two time pro bowler in Sean Lee against Olgletree or Golden. He is definitely way above these guys. We have absolutely nothing at line backer and need 4. People are putting Connelly on this pedestal and maybe he will be average or good or you can say he is very injury prone. Played only 4 games out of 16. Plus coming off a major surgery.

That's your interpretation of what Judge said? ok The point is that we are not going to sign guys who can't play anymore (see Jonathan Stewart) to mentor or coach younger players. It is a point that I completely agree with. Jonathan Stewart I agree. Sean Lee can still play though For the one game a season he’s on the field ....

Meh, Martinez doesnt impress me. Id rather spend money on Littleton or Schobert if we want to spend on a FA LB why doesn’t he impress you? Just curious. He’s a steady, smart player. He's an average run defender who lacks sideline to sideline athleticism and offers little in coverage, making him an awkward fit in the modern game. Id rather spend money on Cory Littleton
