Jedrick Wills - Lacks functional strength, Low ceiling/upside, cannot play Left Tackle in the NFL
Derrick Brown - assuming LW is resigned, don't need the position. Overrated prospect, plays with very high pad level.
Mekhi Becton - High bust factor
any WR
any EDGE not named Chase Young
Translation: I only see 4 acceptable picks, in order:
1) Thomas
2) Wirfs
3) Simmons

Any tackle taken at 4 would do it. There is NO consensus as to which of the 4 is the better pick, so trading back (not too far, please) would be optimal. Will Gettleman get a call from a willing partner? Accumulate picks. We'll have a better idea after free agency.
As much as I love the top WRs, Getlleman can't go there. Can he?

Hands down, WR! Cannot under any circumstance, with as many holes on the Oline and all over the defense, choose a WR with the first pick. Especially considering how deep this draft is at WR, can still get a quality one in round 4.

remote throwers  I dunno if I am sure what you mean but if you mean a wasted pick I will go with Wirfs ( too early for a G ) , or possibly Simmons jack of all traits and master of none I hope Detroit takes him so I do not have to even worry about it... |

Ok, Im in.
I will throw my remote on 3 occasions:
#1 - DG screws up the draft pick because he isnt technologically sound enough
#2 - If we go QB, any of em. Dont care. Danny Dimes is our QB for the next 2 more seasons at minimum. Our bed is made.
#3 - WR/CB/RB/TE/S All big no's for me at 4. We better get a trench piece. Pass rusher or OLman.
BONUS - Out of the Olinemen, Id be a bit upset if we go Becton. I just dont think he is worth the squeeze at 4. At all.

#4 Okudah if your gonna take a corner he is said to be the 1 put him out there and forget about him and the side he is playing for the next 10 years any other corner NO.
These are the only guys at 4 or a trade down and get one of the the OLs is fine.

Im not saying he cant have a successful draft without tech, but tech makes things easier. If he cant adjust to it to make things easier, he shouldnt be the GM. Kinda like when Coughlin was losing it at the end of his days here. He wasnt with the times and was being out coached. |

If he were terrible through out his career I can see but people just can't help themselves dogging him. Might be a good thing for us because I would think there is a chip digging deep into his shoulder right now. He helped this team win those to superbowls as much as any other upper level executive did he was uncharge of finding the free agents that put us over the top. He ain't as dumb as people think. |
