What combination of players would you guys be happy with in the first and second rounds?
For me:
1. Tristan Wirfs 2. Zack Baun

What would we be happy with or what is our #1 scenario? I'm going to use some realism here and not say Young at all (we would all like Young I'm sure).
(top choice) 1. Isaiah Simmons 2. Josh Jones
Or
1. Becton/Wirfs/Thomas 2. Zack Baun
Also would like a C with the 2nd pick because there should be some studs there.

I am still hoping for a trade back, though from what I've been reading and seeing in mock drafts it seems less and less of a realistic possibility. But I really would be quite satisfied with anyone of the top 4 OT's as our 1st rd .
I too like Wirfs but Daniel Jerimiah has him transitioning to Guard in his Mock Draft 2.0 even though he picks him as our 1st rd pick at #4. We need a OT. Originally I liked Thomas.
This is the first time in 3 years I'm not sold on one particular player with our first pick. 2nd rd I have no idea who will be there, maybe the best Center available.
Not what you asked TC, sorry just don't have any feel how it's going to go after the first 2 picks.

1. A Thomas 2. D. Mims
My wet dream is that Young falls to us, but I really don't see that happening. Thomas is my #1 OT, personally. I'd be ok with Wirfs, not a big fan of the other 2 at 4. if we trade down, I just hope we get one of them. Simmons would also be a nice pick lower in the first, depending on where we pick and who else is still on the boards

My hope is we trade down. Assuming we don't, and this will change 100 times between now and the draft.....
1- Wills (RT) 2- Mims (WR)
The thought here is we go defense heavy in FA.
I really like all the top project OT's, but I really liked the tape I watched of Wills...he looks like he could guard Steph Curry 1x1 full court.
Mims is my favorite WR in this draft. I think him and Slayton on the outside would put serious pressure on defenses over the top. They're both deep threats, and Mims plays like he's 6'5. It'd be a great combo, and would simply open things up underneath for Shep, Engram, and Barkley.

Which is exactly the risk picking OT at 4

I just don’t know if Gettleman can delay the rebuild of the OL any longer, and I don’t know that a second round OT will be ready to come in and fill that void for us right away. Very true. This is kind of judging my draft preference in a bubble though. I would also sign an OT and try to sign a C in free agency. In no way shape or form should we delay the OL rebuild, nor should we delay getting good LBs anymore.

unless we feel we can build this team up to be competitive this coming season then I'm all for trading out the #4 spot and moving down for more early picks...

1. Andrew Thomas 2. Zach Baun Man Zach Baun has really climbed up the boards. He is a good player. My thought is if we don't get a C in free agency then round 2 is going to be the perfect spot to get one. Most if not all of the top Cs should be left and there might not be any by the end of the 3rd. Will be interesting to see how it plays out.
