Nobody has a gun to their head to buy tickets.
Good business practice suggests charging as much as the customer will bear.

I believe the same thing happened when Michael Jordan went to the Wizards and Joe Montana went to the Chiefs...
Owners have all that money for a reason. Ticket demand went through the roof in Tampa. Supply and demand. Economics.
The funny thing is, with all the transplanted North Easterners, there will probably be more Patriots fans there in non Patriot games wearing their Brady jerseys, than Bucs fans.
Anyone ever go to a Giants Bucs game down there? I have several times. Its at least 50% Giants fans. Maybe more.

Of course, even though nobody has any idea of our economic shape in the USA come opening day. Never let any complimentary event go without making more money. And they'll still make more and sell more anyway. Just Beautiful.

You can't blame the owners for charging what the market will pay. The NFL is not a charity.
A whole lot of somebodies think it's worth it.

You gotta make hay when the sun is shining, pal. Do you think they'd get an increase two years from now when Brady is retiring and the Bucaneers have won no Super Bowls?

So they went from $25 to $35 dollars?

We’re you the one who bought up all the hand sanitizer and then tried selling through Amazon at exorbitant prices?

Have you lost family to the COVID-19? Have you lost your job while watching all your savings getting flushed down the toilet? Well we have a deal for you! They’ll be lucky if they even get to play this year.

They’ll be lucky if they even get to play this year. The tragic part is that their season ticket sales are jumping. All those folks paying today to dream about renting memories from another fanbase's past.

It's always been an extra home game for the Giants That playoff game was a home game for us(remember the loud booing when they sunk our ship before the game on the Jumbotron...and Jacobs mocked it at the end of the game?

It was a great game for the offense and DJ. Jenkins got burnt so badly it was hilarious.

Speaking of which, isnt it weird that we have played Tampa Bay in 2017,2018 and 2019? And we play them in 2020. And in 2021? 5 straight years of them. The last 2 will be vs Thomas Brady
I think I will bring a giant poster of Strahan sacking him in the Superbowl.

that's called "price gouging", customers are any teams bread and butter. "price gouging" happens when essential products are artificially expensive.
I know we're all fans, but I doubt tickets to Bucs games would be considered essential staples.

its still price gouging when you take advantage of a situation... Oh my God. It's called free markets. You charge what the market will bear. It's Adam Smith 101. These aren't essentially drugs, water or even toilet paper. These are football tickets.

I don’t agree. They’re not taking advantage of anything but the stupid and the gullible. That’s not illegal. wow! So if you pay a lot of money in order to provide something valuable, like a 6 time SB winning QB on your team, you are "price gouging" if you charge more for it?
Have you ever taken an economics class?............ Forget that....have you ever sold lemonade as a kid?
Oh and by the way. Tampa has the 5th cheapest ticket prices in the NFL. Those bastards....for wanting to get to 6th or 7th from the bottom.
