With the Rush for free agents calming down I would like us to keep Remmers and Golden on reasonable contracts. Those are two positions we could use support.

I'd like to see us keep both too but its looking like Golden is looking for a big pay day which I don't think we can afford now even if we wanted to.

With no bites, he needs to lower his expectations.

There's depth cheaper than Remmers and probably almost as good, and the starting RT is coming in the draft imo.

I do have high hopes though for him. I wonder how he will do with a full time starting role, if that's what he earns.

Dante Fowler Jr. got 14 mil per and he’s better than Golden. I would say Golden contract wise would be between 10-12 million but I would pass on him for that price. I rather pay difference maker on defense when I think of Golden he’s a hard worker/effort guy but I want a wow factor type player which would cost more than 12 million but if your going to spend get the best.

They don' t have it unless they go to the old format of signing bonuses where they can spread it out and back load I'm not for that.

I would do Golden for 3 years $30m and $20m guaranteed in a heartbeat.

I think Fowler would have been a better fit than Clowney and I am not feeling the price of signing Golden to a big contract when I believe we are going to be a 5 win team that Gettleman seems to be good at building.
