It’s looking like our coaches may not get to see our draft picks until training camp (no rookie mini camps, OTA’s, etc.). Does this make the FO favor a more pro-ready guy on draft day rather than a developmental guy with a higher upside? For example, do the limitations on coaching these guys before the season starts cause the FO to take a Wirfs over a Becton?
Getting a little stir crazy and probably reaching for a discussion topic .....

Yup from what I'm reading if everyone obeys we can start getting back to normal in like 4 to 6 weeks after the social distancing started so were 10 days in 4 more weeks will hopefully do it. Think this is gonna affect a lot of things guess there 30 visits will be done via skipe. Hopefully for all of us we do enough to turn the tide and get back to normal by May and maybe even get to hear about some OTAs. It is going to affect things just how much is anyones guess. hopfully we get back to work sooner then later and our favorite pastimes can get back to work also.

But all teams will be disadvantaged to some extent. I honestly doubt it influences the draft much.

You know they could always delay the draft a month or so. I think the season is delayed at least a month maybe 6 weeks. We could have a shortened season once again. Baseball probably loses 100 games minimum if not their season.
If were lucky the USA could be back on it's feet by July or August. It would take a miracle to have the country and the world moving at a so called normality any sooner.

I was gonna say hell of a way for a rookie head coach to have start his tenure if he passes this test they found the right guy.

Were in a sticky situation for sure. these things can turn quickly when people begin to work together to attack the common enemy and big industry steps in to help supply the resources needed .

I think if we can get it in hand by may mid may the country will be in ok shape. If it is still growing new cases that far out forget it. Research says if we do the right things this can be controlled in a reasonable amount of time. I'm keeping positive we will be on the mend by then with plenty of testing by then also. And a football season I like our offseason so far want to see it on the field.

So it somewhat limits its ease of transmission.

Yea exactly i'm down here in florida so far were not swamped with cases but we have people bring it with them were over a thousand. hopefully in the coming months it will slow down more but they need to stick to the protocol for at least 5 weeks whether the cases are rising or falling and keep testing.

The thing your state has to be concerned about is it getting into your big retirement communities, like the villages. I have an aunt and uncle down there.

This will unfortunately effect Jones because now he has to learn an entire new offense on the fly ..... and the offense in general But.. **** continuity

Cant find a link though. This is true, but that extra session is already lost due to Corona. Maybe they will let the new coaches have their players report for training camp a week before the other teams?
