With all the talent at DL I think at such a point the Giants might get a trade going. If not this year than next. We shall see.

Not sure...I'll wait for someone who watched all his tape and can provide me with advanced statistics to know what to think.
On the face of it, I would like him being our D line rotation.

Haven’t seen him play since he entered the league really. If this stops DG from pulling the trigger on someone like Derrick Brown in round one I’m all for it. We have a ton of bodies on the DL. Would have to imagine a move or two will happen before the start of the season, whether that’s a couple cuts on guys like Slayton and/or McIntosh or a trade of some sort.
Leonard Williams Dexter Lawrence Dalvin Tomlinson BJ Hill Austin Johnson Chris Slayton RJ McIntosh
That’s off the top of my head and I’m sure I’m missing a player or two. That’s a deep group that’s young and talented. I’ll give them that

interesting acquisition.. don't we have like 10 DTs now lmao. Seems like a decent rotational guy on the surface, don't know much about him.

I’m sure even the most die hard football fans had to look this guy up. And if you are aware of who he is, go outside, breath in that fresh air ( stay 6’ away from people) and kindly throw yourself in front of a bus. Because you’re missing out on life. I’m partially kidding..

Who? No offense but never heard of him. Can he cover TEs?

Who? No offense but never heard of him. Can he cover TEs? Covering doesn't matter. Only covering a TE from that "game changing" or "impact" catch matters.

Seems a little light for DT to me at 314. Needs a little more umph in the backside for me in todays football. But gaining 10-15 lbs for these guys is a pleasant assignment. Some extra deserts and another bowl of ice cream before bed.
You want to be a run stopper then lets be a run stopper.

I did just look though and the Titans won 11 games last year, Austin Johnson has 11 solo tackles. PFF said each of those 11 tackles were "game changing" and their "impact" lead directly to the Titans winning.
We got a steal here!!!!

If you go by snap count McIntosh is our best rotation DT . He averages a tackle every 10 snaps and a sack every 90 snaps. Hill is 13 ,174 Jackson is 15, 410 PS: we need to suit up at least 6. There are 3 on the field at all times. We need to have 3 as reserves (rotation) I think we will suit 7 If 6 I think: Leonard Williams Dexter Lawrence Dalvin Tomlinson BJ Hill Austin Johnson RJ McIntosh
Chris Slayton

Chris Slayton Yet, we still lack that 3-4 OLB/edge who would make every one of these guys that much better....a guy who can take on double teams and allow for some Williams pressures as a 3 tech

Our OLBs are young and have not hit a celling. Somethin else to consider.

This is a guy you need to not look at any tape...oh, and forget any type of statistic...subjective, or highly subjective.
This is strictly a faith signing, faith in Gettleman's ability to find run stuffing tackles, statistically not a huge need in subjective equanimity ...faith in the new coaching staff, and faith the other team shall run the ball every play at our interior.
This was the draft most the board was in a Myles Jack meltdown as he entered round 2.
Oddly enough, if Dave Gettleman was running that draft, we might of taken Chris Jones over Sterling Shepard
BTW, my faith is graded at 54.7.

Now, hopefully Judge implements a defense on par with the great Patriot teams, cause that is how I'm connecting this hiring...and players become products of a built system.

Seems good against the run and good depth for the rotation .If we can finally get some decent LBers to cover the middle and a coach who can teach the fundamentals of tackling we will be all set! You know, I was sitting here eating my breakfast and thinking...we've been asking for linebackers since Pierce left. That is a long time.
